It's not advisable to keep abreast of the stock market during your day job. Especially on a red day. Two people have asked if I'm okay. Na to look at pricelist in the evening. 3 Likes |

RabbiDoracle: Nobody advices anybody. Take it from me. Anybody buying already has his/her mind made up and only looking for a reason to validate his position. The same reason people sell. Whether newbie or old timer. People will always buy when they feel like buying and think it is right to buy. |

what do you want to do with this result? They will pay penalties. The result will still go to FRC( Financial Reporting Council. Coys that have going concern issues must always get clearance for the FRC before the accounts are released to the public. eziokwunwoko: |

PharmAlfred: Gbam, as was the case especially in 2014 (or thereabout). Whenever a company released a good result, the share price tanked! It has happened in the recent past, it can happen again. |

Today's dumping is much. End of it is not far. I will still suggest that people, especially newbies should not panic sell at loss. We've been here before. It wouldnt continue like that. |

ebuka1997:Yes. You can sell and buy back if the loss is minimal or if you're still in profit. Only that no one can predict market movement. It can reverse anytime. It confuses chartists at times self. |

Its good to see that discussions are still going on in spite of the "red letter day". Investors should not have a problem with their portfolio based on the fundamental reasons they invested. Jijoists will feel the pinch, but that's the way the market works. Its a crests and troughs (ups and downs) cycle that any body can predict. The timing of predictions has remained man's greatest flaw. For example, no TA or FA could have predicted the coronavirus. The accuracy of prediction remains in the hands of Mr. Market. 3 Likes |
