Narrate your trekking experience this morning

What a day .
Oshodi 500
Obalende 800

How much is my salary?
I went through hell this morning trying to get a bus to convey me to Eko Hotel from CMS. On a regular day, i take a bus for 100Naira or 150Naira but on getting to the bustop today, it was an eyesore and i eventually paid 500Naira to get to Eko Hotel. I honestly hope something is done soon to help the masses. A BRT Bus came and upon seeing the kind of crowd at the bustsop, he decided to help and asked us to come in. At the point of payment, the other oficials, said the ticket available was for 250Naira and people began to move backwards because we were already used to paying 100Naira.

He said he only had a ticket for Ajah and he was just going to follow Eko Hotel and drop us off. People couldn't pay and we watched an empty Bus leave the terminal.
Please help us provide BRT busses that will drop us off at Eko Hotel with a ticket we can afford..Help us please cause i'm not sure we can survive this.

Tankers have claimed so many lives in Lagos yet LASG hasn’t even bothered to enforce existing traffic laws that r
estrict their time of operation.

If u can get a transfer, get outta lag.....

A son took his old father to a restaurant for an evening dinner. Father being very old and weak, while eating, dropped food on his shirt and trousers. Others diners watched him in disgust while his son was calm.
After he finished eating, his son who was not at all embarrassed, quietly took him to the wash room, wiped the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted his spectacles firmly. When they came out, the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not able to grasp how someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that. The son settled the bill and started walking out with his father.

At that time, an old man amongst the diners called out to the son and asked him, “Don’t you think you have left something behind?”.
The son replied, “No sir, I haven’t”.

The old man retorted, “Yes, you have! You left a lesson for every son and hope for every father“.

LESSON: Do not neglect your parents because they do things old people do. The young shall grow, the grown ups would get old one day.
Please what is the economic importance of this post to this thread currently.

I TREKKED FROM BALOGUN MARKET TO AJAH, AND I'M GOING TO START TREKKING BACK NOW NOW

I remember the night I trekked from Ilaje bus stop to Sangotedo area because of hold up(you know all those types of hold up that will take a vehicle every 20-30 minutes to move and stop).
I knew those drivers where somehow happy because people that paid at the garage and their bus or cab barely moved for 5 minutes came down and forfeit the money for trekking.
That was the day I know there's difference between I'm OK and I'm fine

i usually don't drive my car on mondays due to lagos traffic.

i took a bus to obalende this morning and was forced to trek from obalende to VI.

To be honest i enjoyed the 35 minutes trekking.

As for me, i prefer the bikes and keke do not come back.

Lets trek as we use to do and improve our health.

its trekking for me every monday morning.

But honestly, you know you are not serious, right?

If you like trek for as long as you like. You don't box people to corner. Now this development is at whose detriment? Your likes believe you can develop the state without developing the people. If you want to trek, then do so. Don't force people to your routine

Somehow you people think that your justification for the bike ban extends to tricycles too. Try doing it without sounding like a brat in a bubble and let’s see if it makes sense.
Good time for you guys to start buying bicycles. China did it

Trekked from doyin to bode thomas, got a shuttle bus for 150 instead of 50 naira. Sanwo has a plan of releasing his bus he should do fast students and workers are not finding it funny. Had to lap some students. Or better still he should appeal to employers incase their workers should get to their place of work late.

Which plan? If he has a plan, a lot of people wouldn't be affected by the ban but that man has no plan.

Don't be decieve.

Let me analysis the far reaching effect of the #OkadaBan and Keke to Nigerians.

1. Increase in Crime Rate.
2. Increase in cost of living
3. Loss of lives during an emergency.
4. Low sale of Fuel for Filling Stations.
5. No more sale Vulcanizers
6. Increase in Lateness to work
na today nothing go happen..make them go learn work if we want development we must remove bikes and keke from our city nonsense....

The main cause of traffic in Lagos is Danfo but your government thinks banning Okada and Napep that is saving lives is the solution. Someone who wakes up by 5am to beat traffic will have to start waking up by 3. Your government lacks human emotional intelligence

Pls dont say this ooo,let the government not ban danfo...they will be a riot

@lbslng will be expanding its operations today, Monday, 3rd February 2020 to the following routes:
Oshodi-Ajah (N500)
Obalende -Ajah(N250)
CMS-Ajah (N250)
Inner Marina-Ajah(N250)

Yeah! I saw this shit and it didn't make sense a bit to me! Is everyone living or working in Ajah? Our government is the most irresponsible in the world. I've never seen a dumbass as worst.

I empathise with all the people here whose itinerary has been affected one way or another by the insensitivity of our "looters" I don't have any trekking experience to share as I get taken to and fro work. The traffic is just a bit crazier today. I used to think things will get better but really, I dunno anymore.

My question is, why was Keke napep imported to Nigeria and sold to Nigerians. Now what happens to those who borrowed money to purchase this tricycle? It was called an EMPOWERMENT program. Y is Sanwo DISPOWERING people now?
Just what I was thinking.. why not stop the importation of said okada and keke.. empowerment gone wrong

Just look at this middle class man, the ban suits you while the low earners suffer. it takes just a sickness for you to loose all your money.
