Go for a review, but before then check the ACS revised guidelines as regards not been able to get reference letter on letterhead, I believe it's stated that the person referencing you must attached their ID cards or something like that, U can check and get the real details before u apply for a review...

Hello people,

I received the results of my ACS assessment this morning.

My first employment was assessed as suitable for all the years I worked there; however my second (and current) employment was deemed not assessable (reason - "due to insufficient documentation"). I have worked at my current job for almost seven years so I find this quite worrisome.

More so, I submitted the same kind of documentation (payslips, pension statements and bank account statements) for both employments. The only difference is I submitted a reference letter (written by HR on company letter head etc) for my first job, while I had to submit an affidavit for my current job because my employer explicitly informed me that they do not issue skills attestation letters.

What do you advise I do? Request a review or appeal from the ACS?

Also, please how many points does this educational qualification amount to: AQF Bachelor Degree with a Major in computing

In the meantime, I plan to first contact them via email regarding this result.

Thank you.

Jeez..this should have been submitted to give credence to why you used a stat declaration.

The information on ACS website is not clear to me if it's a review or an appeal.

It's best you send an email to ACS explaining the issue and asking which of the options to go for.

Whether it is appeal or review, you should submit every proofs, all scanned in PDF format and attach the printed email and the statutory declaration.
Bodacious1:
Thanks for replying.

No I did not but I have a copy of the email trail. How do you advise I rectify this please?

Yes you should supply that mail trail and it's likely a review but you should call them first and try to push for an appeal (this is free) ,you may be lucky
However if otherwise, a review (I think 400$) is the next step

The only thing I saw is to attach the referee's appointment letter which I did. I'll check again though for any other thing. Thanks a lot.

Hello fam. Pls just need a clarification on this.
I just got positive assessment for poultry farmer from vetasses, so I plan applying for Eoi for Tas.491.as single. Now my question is, I planned getting married before the end of the year, is it possible to add my spouse in visa application?
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by charlso1(m): 7:12pm On Feb 01, 2020
I have been following this thread for over 9 days now and I regretted buying an eBook tittled Australian Permanent Residency Blueprint by Derin Ogunmola which cost me N17500. This thread is worth more than any information products out there.
Please house, I need a help!
1. I am a graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering (option: Telecommunication) from Federal Polytechnic, Nekede.
2. Have 12 years working Experience as a public servant
3. Have Trade Test 1, 2, 3 certificates as electrician
4. My ielts 7.5, 7.5, 8.5, 6.5 (RSLW)
My question is; do I have any chance of being assess positively?
What kind of job offer should I search for?
Thanks

Congratulations on your positive assessment.

Yes, for 491, it's possible to add your spouse before you pay for your visa application.
You can't add after you have applied (i.e. made payment). However you spouse can apply for 491 Subsequent Entrant visa after you have landed and join you when the subsequent entrant visa is granted.

So you have two options:
Get married before you apply for your visa
or go with Subsequent entrant visa after you land.

Please go through TRA website and read the requirements for assessing as Electrician. I think you have travel abroad for the practical test (not too sure if Electrician is part of the list).
You can also go through www.anzscosearch.com to check which other occupations you can fit in. There are many electrical roles with EA or TRA.

Thanks for your assistance with the reference letter.

I'm nominating for Construction Project Manager, Engineering Manager or Civil Engineer. I'm a graduate of Civil Engineering, FUTO. I really don't know which would be easier.

Please how does pension statement look? Is it easier and cheaper to obtain than tax clearance certificate? Where do I get it? I'm asking because regularising my tax status for the 9 years I've worked will take almost N500k. I can't bear that.

If your PFA is stanbi. iBTC, you can download your statements online. Don't know about others

Please I need help. In applying for EOI 491 visa, is it advisable to choose *ANY* state on one application or use several application choosing on each application each individual state that nominates your profession.

Your experience, the assessing body's requirements and possibility of getting a state nomination will determine which occupation to nominate.

For EA, if you are nominating Engineering manager or Civil engineer - your experience must prove this occupation with reference letter and CDR. Also, you will need to provide either pension or tax statement - this is a compulsory requirement with EA otherwise only the years with the required documents will be approved.

For CPM with Vetassess, you only need reference letter and payslips (amongst other documents). However, your job descriptions must be aligned as a CPM and you must be able to show your managerial position with your company's organisational chart/organogram (this is a compulsory requirement for managerial occupations with Vetassess).
Then you will still need the pension or tax statement for visa application cos DHA will very well ask for it or most likely conduct physical verification.

Pension statement is just like a bank statement showing the pension remitted by your organisation and frequency of payment. It's to be paid by your employer as well as employee. You may speak with your company's finance team on it.

Create EOIs based on the number of states nominating your occupations. For example, if ACT and NSW are nominating your occupation, create two separate EOI. Only tick one state per EOI.

You can always go back to modify any EOI and you can also use same email to create multiple EOIs.

If I understand your question, an Australian citizen can 'call for' his spouse and child/children as well as his parents (parent visa)

For other family members, they have to seek legal ways to enter the country. He can file for visiting visa too with no work right. No one will even employ someone with a visiting visa.
The citizenship can also help if he lives in a designated state/location available for 491 family sponsored/chain migration visa and the family member requiring sponsorship is a skilled migrant.

He should write it himself and give it to someone to review. That's why it is a competency demonstration report. It is better he write it himself. He is capable. If he was able to pass through UI and graduate, he can write this report and get positive assessment.

Agent ké! On this platform, you will discover that "do it yourself" approach is the best. I hope you're not a victim of scam tho.

Try to read through the thread to gain information and ask him to send all the relevant information that was submitted on your behalf and the responses sent.

Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by ExNigerian: 6:28pm On Feb 04, 2020
You can start the assessment right away. But you won’t get any points for experience until you have completed 3 years.
https://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/sites/default/files/2018-04/MSA%20Booklet%20-%20March%202018.pdf You may find the EA requirements in link above.

Good luck.

I may be wrong. I pray I am. I think you've been scammed big time. I checked the website and found the "agent" Mara number. I search for both the name and number on MARA official website. It came up with nothing. Also, the website look suspicious to begin with. Hope you didn't pay too much for this service.
