Well from what you posted it stated fixed deposits are allowed. And the refusal letter he showed that they tried reaching the bank and they did not respond on time. Someone told me he had the same issue with that FCMB. He applied 24th Nov 2019 for priority service and he was told often that decision has not been made. After a suggestion here by someone that the we should reach out to the bank. I told him and the bank just responded Jan 25/26 to the embassy email. He got his passport back 2 days after and he came to UK yesterday. So please everyone applying check on your bank often and avoid some rubbish bank.

Greetings bro,
Who are we to contact in our Bank?
Our account officers or who?

cc Justwise,
cc Lagosismyhome

Anyone who has any input on this can bring it up.....thanks all

1. Whenever, you want to ask question, be explicit and direct. You didn't even ask any question here. You were just talking. How are we to know what information is in the credibility checks to answer? What information is in the form to fill? How can anyone help?

2. Also, because we encourage you to not patronize agent that doesn't mean it is our duty to guide you. Everyone is busy with their dealings and no one gain from giving information. Learn how to talk for your career sake. It is a selfless act that we are giving information and not compulsory from anyone.

3. You need to stop this entitlement mentality. If you want to use agent, you are free. It is not anyone business as no one is benefiting. You are on your own and will bear the consequences solely either positively or negatively.

Hmmm,
This is so harsh from you. All this long grammar you wrote do you think is called for?

Simply put, you should have replied to say please be direct with your question and that solves it, rather than battling with words with yourself.

Is quite sad we still have sum1 like you in here, if we are not here to guide ourselves, then why this forum in the first place?
This your response is uneccessary n i'll advice out desist from such going forward.

This is totally uncalled for.

All you needed to say was ask your question.

And I see no entitlement mentality in his post. He asked for assistance and he asked nicely.

If you don’t want to assist, you can ignore. The platform is for everybody; this is plain rude and unnecessary.

I think I have to do a mail to them also
Submitted since 29th
Biometric 30th
Not straightforward mail 31st
Visa type - SPV

Nothing yet since then

What do you think Caleb and Justwise ?

caleb00:
I think this would be valuable to people for their long overdue visa.

I received this message just yesterday around 2 in the afternoon and same yesterday my visa approved. When i got the email telling me a decision had not yet been reached, i told these niggas that i paid for super priority and and their decision to my application was long over due, then i got the other email telling me to fill that form. Lol like i didn't fill it when i sent the initial email.

In the evening i got an email telling me my case had been escalated.

So in other words that escalation thing actually works, cause if i can remember correctly the last spv applicant in got their visa in 1week, 2 day.

So guys escalate the hell out if your case email and call, cause what's the worst that could happen?

Good morning everyone on this forum. Been reading most of the topics concerning visiting visas, student visas etc to the UK and I must say most of the submissions have been an eye opener and a great learning experience. As a 37 yrs old university drop out and someone who has basically been living life hustling on the streets now trying to get back on the right path, earn a skill set, and become a professional in my own capacity, does anyone have any advice on how to go about getting into a vocational school in the UK to learn a skill? Is it even a possibility as most of the vocational institutions I've been browsing seem to only accept applications from people who are residents of the UK & EEA.. I would appreciate If anyone any body who has some knowledge about this can offer me some advise on ways to go about it as I'm basically just looking to restart my academic life with a 2yr course/training before deciding to proceed to maybe a proper degree if the brain is still capable cause it's been a long time I've been out of study. I hope you get my point. Thank you in advance to anyone graceful enough to reply me.

Welldone. Even your enquiry layout is better composed than some of us who didn't drop out!
I will attempt to answer you from two perspective.
Studying in the UK is premised on two things.
1. Education
2. Potential Immigration

Education is what your sponsor (University) see. Potential immigrant is what UKVI sees.
And you damn need to scale these two hurdles.

Now for Education: You need to find a school that will offer you a first degree - lay your cards on the table. I'm sure one will. It will be helpful if you can explain what you have been doing over the years and how getting a first degree now will help you towards your dream/career. You may also want to let them know why you dropped out and why they shouldn't be worried it may happen again if offered an admission this time around.

For VISA - again like i said, you will be seen as a potential immigrant and you must convince the relevant authorities that the main purpose of coming to the UK is to study and you will willing depart after your course.

You must also note that as an undergraduate, you may not be able to sponsor any dependant into the UK while you're studying. They may only come as visitors.

Goodluck.

It is all about asking questions clearly for people to understand and help. It is a necessary life skill. It is about saying it how it is. No pretense.

What you are referring to is known as a BTEC qualification in the UK. A Level 3 course, in your case, given that you have university entrance qualifications.
You need a college that has a Tier 4 licence, i.e. can accept students who are non-EEA.

Ywill have to do some research on the list of colleges with Tier 4 licences that offer BTEC courses in your area of interest.

I know of Uxbridge College (very close to my friend's house in London); they have a Tier 4 licence. There are several others.

Your age is a factor in any study you wish to undertake under masters' level, but I'd recommend you sought undergraduate admission instead of vocational study. University studies in developed countries are generally not like what we go through here where the lecturers sometimes seem bent on making students' lives difficult. There, the aim is to give you all assistance possible to make you pass.

Nice one. Someone can actually help you as you have clearly asked your question. This is what I was clamouring for.

Bro, UK is very expensive to study. Spending 3 years for undergraduate amounts to an average of 50000 pounds when you consider cost of living.

Bro, if you do courses below degree level, you wont be able to stay after your studies. Training too is expensive.
You can come to study an HNC course in Scotland. But is still expensive. 6,000 pounds per year in addition to living expenses.

You cannot bring your dependant for any course below postgraduate level.

My advise is for you to study in Nigeria. You can try private universities which will give admission easily and no strike. Education and exams will be easy as you are being thought what will come out. The low student ratio will enable you to understand your subject.

When you have your degree, you can now apply for one year Masters in d UK. You can bring your dependants and family. You can even get full scholarship in UK, USA, CANADA, CHINA, AUSTRALIA like how I did. Just try and have first class or at least 2.1.

Take care bro.

If you are applying to RGU, i dont think you need to attend the education fair. Just apply online and follow the instruction. Getting admission at RGU is not hard if you can follow the necessary instructions. But you can go if you are chanced.
