On this same thread people were complaining the movie is boring, but we all know those complaining are Philistines. That movie is one of the best war movies I've ever seen.

Nolan is a genius!

Everybody is a philistine to another person.People will not always like something.

Before we Go (2015) 6/10

See how they turned a whole captain America to a gooey eyed romantic
he has actually comfortably played some romantic/goofy roles...see "Whats your number, Playing it cool or gifted" for example...the captain America role seems to overshadow it.

Have you seen, The Thin Red Line, Platoon, Apocalypse Now?

Apocalypse now is touted to be one of he greatest movies ever. Downloaded it and watched it.

Didnt see what the hype was about. Maybe because it's very old.

I'll advise you see them before you take your pick of "Your greatest war movie".

In addition, I'll have to state that they're a bit old:

Apocalypse Now-1978

Platoon-1986

The Thin Red Line-1998

Nonetheless, see them.

mine are saving private ryan, the thin red line and 1917.

Unstoppable..7/10
Genre: Action, Thriller

loosely based on the real-life CSX 8888 incident, which tells the story of a runaway freight train and the two men who attempted to stop it.
I really loved how the movie played out, though predictable, it was quite simple & Thrilling & didn't in any occasion try to be what it wasn't.
Cast was very good, especially Denzel Washington, really did enjoy the chemistry between the two leads, special effects were quite few but very ok, nice directing also.
All in all, it was really a good flick.

Did you deliberately omit Inception?
For me, his role in Inception blew my mind the most.

He should have won an Oscar for The Wolf of Wall Street and not Revenant.

Wolf of Wall Street was his best performance in my opinion.

JoJo Rabbit 7/10

I mostly didn't get the humour, a few chuckles here am there, but the story was very touching for me. Taika Waititi sure knows how to take a serious subject matter and turn it into a carricature while at the same time being able to strike an emotional cord in the viewer.

The fancy cinematography was appealing to my eyes, so was the Dame; Scarlett Johansson cool and the performance of the casts was quite notable, except maybe Taika Waititi's.

But Bleep it, that heil Hitler scene was fvcking Hilarious! cheesy

TOUT POUR ELLE (Anything for Her)..7.5/10
Genre: Crime, Drama, Thriller
Language: French

This was the original to the Hollywood remake The Next 3 Days. IMO, this was a little bit better than the remake, just a lil bit better. Russel Crowe really made the remake worthwhile.
This is one of those movies were most of the its scenes are very tensed, that it keeps you at the edge of your seat till the very end.
Storyline was interested & very much compelling, acting was solid, cinematography was also excellent.
If you enjoyed The Next 3 Days, you'd love this one.

So fuc.king Hilarious at the bolded.
The other scene i really liked was the one we're those 2 lads were moving the RPG & they mistakenly dropped & fired it. The way they were carrying the RPG was fuc.king hilarious.

Just seen Queen and slim.. And it was refreshing, exhilarating..a plot and storyline we have seen before but with a different twist and take, cinematography was top notch and excellent, one of the best I've seen in while. Good acting from the two main cast, and every other extras. Y'all should see it, that ending was tragic, Fuck_ the police.

8/10 for me
