It was a beautiful goal against the Ligue 1 Champions.... Mistake by Kimpembe and Timo Kehrer #4 for PSG and Simon pounced and off he went.... You know how fast the lad is... They (Kehrer and kimpembe) couldn't catch up with him and he placed the ball Beautifully past Keylor Navas.

Simon has been on fire in France and doesnt look like slowing down!!

President Buhari Appoints Daniel Amokachi Nigeria’s Football Ambassador

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed retired Nigerian professional footballer, former Super Eagles player and Assistant Coach, Daniel Amokachi, Nigeria’s Football Ambassador.

Amokachi, a member of the 1994 Super Eagles Team that won the African Nations Cup in Tunisia, was also in the Nigerian Olympic Football Team to the 1996 Atlanta Olympics that won the Gold Medal.

In addition to his football exploits in Europe, particularly in England where he won the FA Cup with Everton in 1995, Amokachi after retirement has managed Nasarawa United and Enyimba Football Club of Aba.

As Nigeria’s Football Ambassador – a largely ceremonial role – Amokachi will assist the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to scout for talents, be part of processes to revive the country’s football development, as well as mentor young sportsmen and women.

The Bull deserves this appointment , he is the right man for the job .

Why the face now?

Of course im aware of both threads. You making it seem like im tryna insist they must get featured here. C'mon.

Show the face to those talking about the best coaches in England, one you even are part of.

I show face to anybody guy, it is nothing to get all wimpy and whiny over undecided

If I tire for the coach discussion, which I even abandoned, I will show it to them too. You could have even used the face for the coaches discussion and it would be justified. This is the Super Eagles thread after all, not Super Falcons thread, common sense says any info on Super Falcons will be accessed on Super Falcons thread.

I did not come here asking about Pep and Klopp, did I? undecided undecided

It was a look of confusion, not even that I am trying to press your buttons, later you people will say women are the emotional sex undecided undecided

if the role is largely ceremonial, that means all these other things he is supposed to be doing are just talk.

What does it mean to 'assist' the Ministry in developing sports? A ceremonial role means he has no actual powers, his own is to smile and look pretty for the cameras, make appearances and speak some juicy words on behalf of government, while essentially doing nothing in the real sense of the word.

In other words, he works for the face-lifting of the government, he does not actually work for the enhancement of Nigerian sports, because he has no powers regarding that

Im aware of the Falcons thread. But I'd rather, if its all about rules strictness, talk about a National team player, male or female than talk about th3 best coaches that are all europeans, South Americans, etc on a Super Eagles thread. If you want me to follow this rule, then someone should have warned, cautioned y'all for talking Pep and Mourinho for the last 6pages.

I have no issues with that, you know me. But bringing a face asif i did something forbidden, i will never take that @safarigirl.
You will never take it, as in, you will come to my house and beat me because of a common emoji? Is your ego that fragile that this face undecided is disturbing you?

Are you the first person on this thread I have done this undecided for? You have taken it, guy. undecided take it again.

See me, coming back to even retract and tell you sorry, only to see "I will never take that", I did not know you are the source of my life and existence and I should be bothered about what you will take and what you won't undecided undecided undecided

Are you not a 'someone'? Or do you consider yourself less that you decided that rather than caution, you will also join the lawlessness and unruliness by further bringing a topic that has nothing to do with the thread?

Instead of you to agree you did wrong and leave it, you are saying "... Am I the only one?" Typical Nigerian, passing blame for their irresponsible action.

If everybody is mad, you would rather join the madness than be the source of sanity. That is what you are saying; you are a mere follower, never a leader.

Sit down and be waiting for others to do, so you follow them. That is why we don't know you on this thread, if a survey is taken and we ask thread members of your person, what will be said of you? We don't even know; at least we know who dey quarrel, we know who dey settle quarrel, we know analysts, we know historians. Where do you fall? undecided

Small undecided you will never take it. Sorry tongue tongue tongue

Please, how old was Ejide when he debuted for Super Eagles?

I always thought he was a bit older than Enyeama, but this one I am seeing 35 as his age, please, can anyone confirm? Cuz the maths is not adding up

According to the records, 17 years 2 months and 8 days on June 16, 2001 vs Namibia under Jo Bonfrere.

Birthday is April 8. So yep, that should help with the maths.

Well, last I shared was on CAF and Lagerdere Sports having somewhat differing views on the stance of the decisions following their court sessions. But since then, nothing yet has been heard as regards whether CAF has finally sorted out the right for SuperSports to resume airing CAF international matches again.

But we will know soon enough as March is indeed drawing close.

wonderful

So, 17 year old Austin could debut for Nigeria, but 18-year old Okoye should be drafted to the U-20?

I wonder if there were no age grade teams back then for Ejide to feature for undecided

Then please explain his high rating today despite having no goals and assists. Since that is "ALL" that matters. grin Oya start the lecture... I dey wait...

Meanwhile, I'm also checking on Bremen vs Dortmund as Dortmund are 2-0 down. I expect Haaland to come in and come save their asses.... grin (Modified: Haaland is already in sef... Came in at the start of the second half on 45mins... Now it is 52mins...)

Meanwhile... Explain how Osimhen got his high rating despite bagging no goal and no assist since na wetin matter only be that.

Your time starts now.... cool

A striker without a goal, but with high ratings, is how you know when a player is good, not the ones that cannot work for the team.

Not everytime solo glory, sometimes sacrifice.

Lol... There was. But as I recall as a very little kid back then, we didn't qualify for the 2001 U-20 WC. The one that saw Saviola emerge from and had Ghana taking third I think.

Come to think of it sef... Ejide even made his NT debut before Enyeama. Enyeama's first senior cap came on May 4, 2002 vs Kenya as a 19 yr old.
