Today is one of the most important days in the history of our generation as regards American Presidency. The Senate will vote on the articles of impeachment on Trump. The markets have been waiting to get the news of the impeachment over and with so they know how they'd deal with Ametica.
I know they will almost certainly vote to acquit Trump because the Senate is majority of Trumps party people, but there would be spikes and if Trump is not impeached the Dollar would just sky rocket because he always wants strong dollar.
This is like the news of the Century for America as it's been over 150yrs since an impeachment got to this stage last oh.

Anyways I'm surprised you call Lagardes speech and ADP as none events but the attached indicates they are as high impact as NFP on friday.

We don't see trump going, Good for the U.S. dollars, its like when Brit exited the EU on 31, Did you see any major flash in the market that day? of course know, and why was that?
It's because Boris negotiated a seperate deal for the negotiation deals with EU to continue till 31 of December 2020, so technically, they are still in EU after exiting, because the trade rules they still follows till they reach a deal.
But since traders found out Boris negotiated separately for deals negotiations to continue even after they exit EU, market did not react to that because it's no more news.

And that EU news was why i exited sell on Euro/Usd because it's too slow, and I can't or don't like to be trapped in a pair that had high impact News coming, I do rather wait if I still want to trade that pair for the news moment I can get from my feed, or I just continue on shares of U.S. companies when it opens or Gold.
