Phatkayconcept:
If you are currently filling your visa application form or recently completed yours, please help clarify this updated IMM5707E.

What do you fill in the parent section, having filled the father and mother space.

There is no space for siblings as it used to be before. Does this means that we don't need birth certificate of siblings ?
Please help

Hello Phatkayconcept,

Your siblings are not instrumental to your study application rather your parents, in the case of home ties. Hence you can fill the IMM 5707e form and just include the birthday certificate of your siblings if you want to. However, if you are still bent on including the details of your siblings, then search and download IMM 5645e form from IRCC website.

All the best

SAVE MY SOUL
Good day house I am a 19 year old fresh graduate from secondary school and I got an admission to university of Manitoba last year and I put in for my study visa application in November last year.

MY TIMELINE
Application online route through an agent -November 23
Biometrics -November 26
Biometrics validation letter -24 January
Refusal- 24 January
*based on family ties in Canada and home country
*based on financial assets and financial status

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED
-Standardized Admission letter
-Complete application forms
-International passport data page
-Sponsorship letter from a politician with SOA ending balance at 21M and has good turn over

*sponsor is not related to me but my uncles friend whom he had known for 20 years and this was stated in the sponsorship letter.

*No form of commitment was made like transfer of funds to my account towards the scholarship.

*The sponsor stated that I am a beneficiary of his initiative as a way to giving back to community but didn’t state how I was chosen for the scholarship.

NB : No Letter of explanation was written

I will like to reapply this month because my admission is still valid til September 2020, please house how do I tackle this ?

In addition i am in the process of attaining a Project management certification to add to my qualification. i have written no standardized test nor English test. but i am willing to if necessary although i rather not.

i am afraid with the little research i have carried out, i have limited chances with my low cgpa.

my questions are ?
1. should i be applying for a masters, pgd or diploma considering my cgpa?
2.what do i need to increase my chances of admission?
3. What schools should i be targeting ? Community schools or universities?

Many thanks as i look forward to your response on my concerns
Hi, a pgd or pgc is the best bet for you, also be sure to include your work experience when applying as it can be an advantage to you. You might have to check a similar course as finding Real estate pgd/pgc in Canada is quite difficult.

You will probably won't need any standardized test.

You see this is why i said I don’t know much about visit or any other visa type except study visa.
Nevertheless, by having a correspondent letter, it means a decision has been reached. So just be patient and prayerful and hope the decision is a favored one.
I wish you luck. It will end in praise.

Thank you so much and God bless—- A big Amen

Good pm house, please this forum is not for visit visa thread but I need a quick response, I am pleading again, please you people shouldn’t be angry or upset at me!! Today making 68 days, which is 9 weeks and some days, and am still yet to get final decision from the Canada embassy!! The last update I get concerning my application was on the 15 of January, the day my biometric correspondence letter drop, since then, no update or news or what so ever ! Please, is the process change or something is wrong! Pls someone should share more light if you have ideas, Because am deeply confused and scared right now!

Hello Ruben225571,

At this point, the only thing you can do while waiting is to send an email or webform to IRCC as a warm reminder, if you haven't. Based on the provided information, a decision has been reached and your application finalized. They are just slow at their end to update you or as the case may be.

All the best.

Your profile looks okay, so I think ordering for your gcms note will help give you an idea of what the vo thinks about your application.
You can order for it now if you want, so you get it on time to repackage another application.
Good luck

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Obehi44: 6:42pm On Feb 05, 2020
I have said this before and I am saying it again, if you ask a question and you specify who and who you want to respond, you may not get your response on time or get different opinions.
I don’t know much or have all the time in the world to be here, neither do I believe there is a someone here who knows all.
So I suggest we keep our questions wide. The more opinion the better the result or sense you may pick from the response.

Memorial University of Newfoundland doesn't waive English Proficiency test for undergraduate students coming from Nigeria. It's a compulsory requirement and your sister will have to sit for the exam and attain an overall 6.5band in her IELTS exam. I would suggest you apply to University of Winnipeg or University of Regina, these schools are very fast in issuing acceptance to undergraduate students and they also DON'T require any English proficiency test.

It will end in praise
Bro , I have applied to university of Winnipeg on her behalf but later received a message to provide English proficiency that it's required for Nigerian applicants . I don't know what to do now though I have screen shot the school page which stated Nigerian are exempt from English proficiency . Please what's your suggestions . Thanks

Hello house, I just got a rejection letter for my study visa permit, reasons below;

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Please how can I go about fixing this? I need to reapply quickly to meet up with the May resumption. Please help

Thanks

Please someone should kindly help me with any school that offers a Post Graduate Diploma/Certificate in any biological science course. I applied for Msc Biological science at Brock(they only check the last four semesters GPA as against the entire four years) but getting a supervisor is a big issue. Had to write to the department and they said I should probably find another school as most Professors are currently not taking students. I decided to go for a PGC/D because of my CGPA. I have tried my best looking for a college but getting a biological science course isn't easy. Please someone should direct me on any good college that offers a PGD in any biological science course.
God bless everyone.

The choice is yours to make, though it is not a do or die thing. Sincerely, when it is time, everything will cooperate in your favour. I have applied twice to University of Saskatchewan with no success until I tried MUN which worked for me.

I will just advice that you not to give up easily while still exploring other options. It will end in praise for us all.

No. The land documents ,Joint account statements, pension statement, study leave approval letter were added in the new application.
Yes I used the same sponsor for the 2nd application.
I addressed the main reason for no travel history which was tight work schedules.
I explained in detail why I changed career path and how I have been fully absorbed into the new career. I listed the courses I needed from the Canadian curriculum and their benefits upon my return. In addition, I also explained about career/job prospects in home country and my plans to establish some projects to improve the existing environment. I then went ahead to upload my personal finances and property which I never used in the former application.
I hope this helps.

Hi, try to get a professor in the school to keep in touch with... indicate your interest in the professor's research interest. It is highly competitive. For UoR they accept an average of 20 ppl in ISE dept out of about 1000 apps.
