There is no need posting this because I sort of corroborated this article earlier when I said the communities in the southern end of Anambra has been influenced by their Imo neighbors, hence the shift in dialect. However, they still maintain some of their original Omanbala trademark. For instance, the " Oluoha" root word is written in Anambra variance while the suffix in Imo variance which support my argument. Yet , they practice Nze na Ozo which instil a,certain knowledge and character in the practitioners. Ihiala is fully Omanbala and proudly so.[/s]

When aspirants were whittled down to three from six, each of the remaining three aspirants was asked to bring a person each to make up an18-man Committee that made the final selection.

Nnewi don't say ohia, never. It was the Igbo Izugbe that is destroying our dialects. For example , the famous masquerade ajofia is named according to their original lect. Secondly, Ora izu which the traditional ruler goes by shows Nnewi is strong Omanbala group. Thirdly, the name ana edo ends the debate. Nnewi is strongly Omanbala.
