A group of people plan to stage an #OccupyLagos protest at the Eko Atlantic City during the 2020 Lagos Marathon. The purpose of the protest is to get the government to reverse the restrictions on the operations of commercial motorcycles and auto rickshaws in some local governments in the state.

This year's Lagos Marathon will take place on Saturday the 8th of February, 2020 and the finish line will be at the Eko Atlantic City. Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and other invited guests are expected to be at the Eko Atlantic City to witness the end of the marathon and the event is expected to be broadcast live on satellite television. The protesters plan to stage their protest at the same place and time as the conclusion of the marathon.

You don't beat a child and expect him not to cry.

I support such move so long it's peaceful.

You don't just wake up and take people means of livelihood and expect them to applaud you..

let the protest hold, we will all wait for the outcome, banning of this okada riders is not a bad step, however creating alternatives for them before the ban would have been a great move. now families of 100 of thousands of riders are now in pain and anger and will start opting for different illegal means of survival

A group of people plan to stage an #OccupyLagos protest at the Eko Atlantic City during the 2020 Lagos Marathon.
The group of people are the sensible ones we have in Lagos.

Not the 60 years old fool that refers to himself as a boy who turned this ban of Okada to a TRIBAL shenanigans already, saying he supported Sanwo-Olu because most of the okada rider in Lagos are from the northern part of the county and they are Shiites members,
hence he can't fight for them!
As if every okada rider in Lagos are Hausas!

What Tribal bigots want to turn this nation to,
they will not live long to witness it.
What a Foolish old man living on crumbs from politicians to cause unrest in our nation.
And you see some foolish youths that have coconut inside their head, instead of working brains , supporting him, brainwashed things!

More Palliative measures from LASG is all we ask for.
We stand with this sane set of group.

Neddstark:
I apologise for insulting you yesterday. Good comment.
Oh, okay.
We cool!
Hugs!

If you call for good governance protest you won't see a single soul

Misplaced priorities

If you can't cope with Lagos then leave

The governor should order the police to shoot on sight anyone disrupting public peace especially on saturday

When will they start to protest about the killings, when will they start to protest about those that were disable or killed by okada, when will start to protest about the underpayment for the military in war front.
Forget about protesting for okada and keke napep .
Let everybody occupy Nigeria and take a day or two days duty off to show our dissatisfaction on the government in general.
Else let things continue the way they are.

The governor must understand that not everybody in Lagos drives cars and Sm have to track long distances now. What’s the alternative?

In China they solved such problems riding and sharing bicycles.

He shud stop behaving like every has an escort car with a driver to move around like him.
