I fully support Adeboye's right and action. There was nothing political about his movement, and as a man of god it's his sacred duty to ask our polical class to uphold their most important oath: to guarantee the security of lives and properties of all Nigerians.

I wish more clerics will join him in this protest, rather than hide behind the pulpit and hurl insults as they play to the gallery, like Apostate Suleiman and scrotum-head Oyedepo love to do.

Junaid Mohammed, elder-statesman and Second Republic lawmaker on Wednesday said Pastor Enoch Adeboye cannot claim he is ignorant of developments in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration with one of his protege, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as the number two man in the country.

Adeboye had led a protest last Sunday against mindless killings in the country where he carried a placard and called for an end to bloodshed in the country.

The cleric stressed that whether a Christian or a Muslim, “every life is precious to God.”

Shortly before the walk against insecurity, Adeboye, who said every soul lost to insurgency was precious to God, prayed that evildoers in the country should be exposed.

Reacting to the protest, Junaid in a chat with Daily Independent said “I don’t like talking about people’s religion or religion movements”.

It is not my favourite topic but I would have thought that unless somebody wanted to be mischievous, Adeboye cannot claim to be ignorant of what is happening in Buhari’s government when his boy, the number two man in his church, RCCG is the number two man in the country” .

May your wisdom increase. Southerners are their own problem. Southerners are the ones pushing for the VP to resign? This is the same VP that has been said to be the most useful and efficient VP in the history of Nigeria, he was up and doing when the President was dying or whatever he was doing on his sick-bed somewhere abroad, this same VP removed one of the most feared DG of SSS in the history of Nigeria, instead of us to keep encouraging and pushing him, we are here insulting him and asking him to resign as if his resignation would achieve anything. From the array of appointments for a while now, i wont be surprise if he is repalced with another Northerner should he try to resign and then we will lose the only focus and eyes we have in the Presidency. I remember Patience Jonathan once claimed that the only thing Goodluck Jonathan was doing in Aso Rock at a time was to read newspaper and yet we didnt ask him to resign so why the open dispaly of hatred for the VP now. Is he the President? when he acted as President, he performed excellently well. The VP should stay put and not resign, perhaps, the killing is even moderate now because he is still there. If he resign, he will be replaced by another Northerner and there is nothing the South would do about it. The Northerners are not asking the President to resign, we are here calling for the head of the VP. Shame shame and shame!
