OLIVERJAID - Where Is Our Container? by amdman: 12:34pm On Feb 06, 2020 |
Today is February 6. You were commissioned for this job on Jan 2, and the container arrived on January 3. Your request for valuation was received on January 22 – clear 20days after you were commissioned Customs examination was conducted since January 22 Customs payments have been concluded since January 28 Shipping Line fees were only paid today February 6 (after uncovering your lies), despite the fact that you have been issued invoices since January 6 and 17. You have no explanation for this as we already paid you over 90% of the agreed amount Terminal charges have not been paid as at this moment despite the fact that you received their invoice since January 20 The terms of our agreement were: Container will be cleared in 7 days – today is day 35. Your claim is that you were not able to step down the container for faster processing because you were commissioned late. However you never mentioned this at the time you were commissioned. You had all the facts and you said there would be no problem No additional costs aside what was agreed because our business model does not give us room to ask our clients for more funds – Aside our agreed amount (N2.2m), we have paid an additional N565,325 and you are still saying there are more payments outstanding Personal Attention to this transaction – Rather you sit in your armchair waiting for whoever to send you feedback in their own time, leading to your lies and delays Your lie over the last 2weeks has been that the server at the shipping line is down. You were shocked when I uncovered that lie for you today with facts. Your lie is particularly heartless when you know that about N40,000 accrues as demurrage for everyday the container is still in the port. But you are not perturbed because you think you have the yam and the knife. As at today, we have paid you a total of N2,585,325. Total payments you have made based on receipts provided is N1,511,022.50 leaving a balance N1,074,302.50 (yet you are requesting for more!). While we understand that a small portion of your expenses would be unreceipted, where is the rest of our money? Oliverjaid… where is our container? 19 Likes |

Hmm... This is why you shouldn't trust most of these people until you see actual and verified customers they served. =N=2.5million plus paid despite an agreed =N=2.2 and he's yet to deliver. He probably under quoted in order to get the job. I hope you get the container so you and your customers have peace of mind. 3 Likes |

mexxy1:Goodmorning every one. I am oliverjaid, a clearing and forwarding agent. i am not a new face and i have been on Nairaland since 2013. First i want to apoologise for my recent out bursts and ill mananered responses. it was unproffessional. In business the customer is king, we hold all our dear clients in high regard and i want to tender an appology specifically to amdman. Govt policies and shiping protocols have a major part to play in processing clearing of containers and cars in our various terminals. There are times when all systems will be in perfect sync and in 3-6 days the container or car is out, sadly there are times when they stay much longer. Poor/timely comunication of sensitive documentation required for container processing is key. I will not be passing the blame to anyone but my self. i should have ensured i had all the tools required to clear the container before giving out an expected time. I own up to my faults and mistakes and promise to make amends going forward. Your monies are safe, and container is not lost. current protocols require that the container steps down at the port, if not it will be moved to a bonded warehousing facility sadly i cannot influence or speed up that process even if we are to pay extra for it. i know there is a lot of apprehension in certain quaters due to the nature of the transactions, but i can assure you that Mr amdman is an upright business man and your products are safely on nigerian soil. Kindly bear with me, as i will sort this out and by next week you will all be driving in your freshly imported cars while we put this phase behind us. once again my appologies to the house, i have learned from my mistakes and i will do better, and serve you better. kind regards oliverjaid 8 Likes |

That's why i so much hate all these online based businesses and dealings. The average nigerian man is looking for an opportunity to defraud. Now see the cock and bull story a scammer is telling when people's hard earned money is at stake. This needs to be put forward to front page. cc lalasticlala 19 Likes 2 Shares |

This oliverjaid guy can lie and corpses would start waking up from the grave. There's no one that can do business with you for the first time and patronize you again, because you only have them drained to the last breath. Everybody that I know has never given you Job the second time, because you always mess up big time. The same thing you did to my brother last year, you collected money and never do anything for over 33 days. You'll collect money and used it for your personal things and start lying about server down, until we started threatening you before you released the vehicle within 48 hours. Aberyomi called you out too over his client's car, you started lying that you didn't see the car at the port for days, it took another person just few hours to locate the said car. At the long run that car spent 6 weeks or so before you acted and until you were called out before you did the work you're paid to do. Despite the fact you're well known on Nairaland, a lot of people can never give you work to do after the first one, only the ones that didn't know you're wicked and heartless that'll give you work to do. And I bet it, such ones can never try it the second time. I'm sure aberyomi has parted with you and also Aywhy I'm personally affected with this container Amdman called you out on, and the moment I found out some weeks ago that you're the clearing agent... The first thing I said to myself and family is "We are in trouble" 74 Likes 4 Shares |

@Oliverjaid I'm not surprised to see you being called out. This is the exact lies and stories you cooked up when you wanted to clear mine and elogic car last October, it took you over a month since vessel unloaded to get the cars out. Now, Immediately I know amd.man put you in charge of this particular container, I knew we are f*cked. I didn't want any form of calling out before but you're so incompetent that the last option is to call you out. You're gradually making yourself irrelevant in this regard. To make it worst, you didn't come up with any reasonable reason which means you don't have any... We're not all fools here, do your job and provide that container before this gets escalated. 33 Likes 3 Shares |

oliverjiad: Please my brother, I don't normally put mouth for issues like this but amdman has done a great service to car buyers by introducing non salvage real fact cars from Canada, don't soil his line of business by making clearing hard. Some of us are still going to patronize him, please give us hope rather than dash it away. Do the needful and see the container is cleared nah God i take beg you 46 Likes |

oliverjiad: Bro... There's nothing going on in Lagos port, have you forgotten it's over 30 days already? What server is going down that's affecting the whole of Nigeria for that long? The same line you use. Be humane nah.! I just decided to ignore and move on back then, knowing fully well that I'll never use your service again. Don't think I was satisfied back then because I didn't talk. Now, I'm unhappy knowing you're in charge of this. You're gradually tarnishing your image here! 13 Likes |

OLIVERJIAD has handled clearing for me several times both roro and containerized, and while his communication skills can be very lacking sometimes, he has never failed to deliver, at least not yet all these raised tempers here spilling over from the very toxic amdman thread are just going to make a mess of the whole issue OLIVERJIAD, all these negative testimonies are cause for serious concern, you better work quickly to sort out the issue with the container, if you cannot do the job just refund the money and move on 8 Likes |

I don't know if some nairaland business guys are cursed. You see an opportunity to make good money through constant patronage but you prefer to end it with greed. You want to hit the million naira mark profit at the expense of your client. 41 Likes 1 Share |

No one is bothered about the past now and any excuses you may have. 5 weeks has gone as we're talking... Fine, that's the past. I called you 2 weeks ago, you gave me 2 days, last week you said Thursday or Friday and this week is running out again... today is Thursday Oliverjiad, the main point is when will it be out, you haven't mentioned anything about that... Are we to wait for days or weeks again. Tell us, when are we expecting it to be out 4 Likes |
Re: OLIVERJAID - Where Is Our Container? by Inception(m): 3:42pm On Feb 06, 2020 |
oliverjiad: Then it is obvious you can't read and interprete. The vessel left the shores of Canada in November. The invoice was raised on the 27th of December. Due date for honouring was first of January. Estimated time of arrival was 1st of January. It is all stated there, dude. 17 Likes |

oliverjiad: Look at the debit note you pasted. How much VAT is written there? 5% Even the 7.5% starts in February. What did you use the entire January to do? You purposely delayed till February in order for you to extort the client and collect more money. 23 Likes |
Re: OLIVERJAID - Where Is Our Container? by amdman: 4:11pm On Feb 06, 2020 |
oliverjiad: Oga, server is not down again... it is now VAT. You got exit note on January 28. Up till this moment on February 6, you have not paid the terminal. Why? I have sent you more money than you need, but you are still giving stories because you are not at the port and you don’t know what’s going on there. Between Tuesday and now that I sent you additional money, you have not done anything. The most painful part is that I took you into confidence and gave you a breakdown of how my transactions work and what my customer’s expectations are. Yet here we are. You are an enemy cloaked as a friend. 41 Likes 1 Share |
