Where was he when the decision to employ EH was made? Where was he when the EH were invited to travel long distances to Abuja, risking their lives, to attend the interview at Abuja.

If the info to cancell the EH is really true, it just shows that the corporation is disorganized. It indicates that things are not done in unison - no team work, as someone can just do things that pleases him. And I can assure NNPC that they will keep getting chains of court cases, cos I know some EHs will not just sit back and allow this injustice be done on them.

And by the way, what will happen to the vacuum that will be created by those contract staff who will take the EH positions?

its still all rumours tho....what i think would eventually happen is a trade off...take some contract staff convert..where applicable then the remaining would be taken from the EH list....but then if that happens 1 begins to wonder how many from the EH merit list would make it seeing that a lot of politicians and top mgt staff have there eyes on it....

It would be unwise for Nnpc to cancel the recruitment without a strong reason like rapture or war.

Although it is not the best for those who are EH and have invested so much in the recruitment, but in a way the GMD is right. No one will want a new bee even if he/she is experienced to come boss him.. Same thing happened at my place of work and we all were not happy, why not promote those who are there and fill up the higher cadre was our response... God will help us all.

An IOC maybe Shell (remember what was quoted as GT salary pa?) puts up an advert looking for an experienced engineer. Remember you are now 36 so would you still be eligible for GT role? You applied for the role and after 12 months of waiting for closure, you are told the mgt is open to internal movement rather than hiring externally! Wao! This little fictional 'insight' is to let you know that no one is immune to the vagaries of life. Some so called board members that now favour internal manning of experienced roles even joined as DMs at 45 or even more! So what is the hypocrisy all about? F*ck this TAPE nonsense. It is all hogwash. The so called contract staff are even lucky to be there in the first place. Even if they do many of you here will still say it's a lie that it's a contract staff who is in charge of their social media handle that is trying to discourage people from hoping. He will also be said to be a negative vibe. People will never forget it cos they are extremely desperate and when people are desperate they will spin different kind of things in their heads just to make them sleep easy at night. Assuming they release it today people will still come up with 3rd and 4th list. Until it becomes apparently clear that there is no APL or anything of sort people will keep dreaming cos they have put all their hopes in NNPC and in their heads any failure is next to death. APL is not coming anytime soon get it into your heads. NPA recruitment took 2 years from 2014 to 2016. Test was done in 2024 Jonathan... People were called for documentation in Buharis in 2016. Keep feeding yourself with dreams that you will be called in a week or 2. Employment is not the only thing done in nnpc and they are not in a hurry to employ cos they don't send anybody. It will come when it's time. It might take a year more or 2. Then again there is another issue of slot buying, connections and all. Many will insult as usual but truth is there is no APL yet and it's not even certain it will come out this year. Early February early February. Today is 6th. Lol.

NNPC #TAPE might be an audio one after all. ICPC has come out to say that applications will not be considered for the positions of Assistant Directors and gave a tenable excuse. I am waiting for the reason NNPC will give for the cancellation of EHs recruitment.

You may be right, but I can also argue that you being on NL is unnecessary as well when we all know that your APL will not be sent here (assuming you made it.) You could have just waited for notifications without having to read my comment.
