You Bleep up oga grin

How you go tag someone u just alleged wrongly recently? When you haven't even tendered an apology.
Tje thing tire me myself ooh. This is to show how people who offend others don't seems to understand how it hurts not until karma show up then they cry foul.

But how GAZZUZZ was able to take note of the user name and could fish out the guys mail and quote is what I still dont get.

A Lot of persons have insulted me here but I don't even seems to identify them neither do I border to fish out their user name... I move on! because one thing is sure not everyone will like you no matter how good u think u r and another interesting thing is, those who hate you are the once that will sell you to the world with their hate speech and acts unknowing to them.

FUNACEP FLEET MANAGEMENT before chevron

I'm directed to go there for a vehicle, how is their services like?

When I was searching for a car I visited these company, read there terms and conditions but didn't proceeds further to collecting a car from them.

One of the terms and conditions turned me off

They said your first remittance/first week payment will be 38k- I asked the receptionist lady why 38k she said they did that to test you,

Then also another red flag for me was the weekly 35k payment....

Have gone through the last three pages on these thread and I think steps has to be taken by us.

I was just thinking what is the best way or channel that we can use so that our voice will be heard, I came up with these two option

1....all uber and bolt cars/drivers deliberately stay at home for a week- I can not phantom the devastating effect it will have on Lagosians, there will be more people stranded, there will be an avalanche of people trekking and these will cause a ripple effect that will get the government thinking.

These will also affect the earnings of bolt and uber and will put them on there toes to stand up and address the issue- either they look for a way to pay the government the license fee of 100k or look for a way to pass that charge to riders( its simple since it has become part of the cost of rendering ehail service, they can add 2% ehail Lagos tax to the total fare. If the real fare is 1k,thenthe total will be 1k+2%)

2...if every driver here has a twitter handle we can come up with an hastag and begin to post on twitter using the hastag.......we can come up something like #multipletaxation #LSGstopchasinginvestors etc.
Believe me twitter is one platform where battles are won by those that know how to use it.

Just my thought

This issue of permit

Like I said earlier it's more about those rogue govt official wey dey do anyhow.

Those rogue guys know that if dem misbehave nobody to caution them. Na the main problem be that ...shey Uber don't have license to operate at airports? Why can't drivers pick up rider freely at the airport? Drivers are been harassed and nothing is been done about it

Did govt at the top asked Sars to arrest people carrying laptop ?

What right does any police man has to search my phone without a warrant?

Sorowe that wasn't released after court granted him bail...where was the law?

Yes we all know vio or frsc does not have any right to ask for any harkney permit or whatever

If person meet them tomorrow and they ask for it ....what will person do ? Who is going to fight for one?

Those are the real concerns of drivers

How is anyone being harrassed at the airport because he drives on uber....the same law that applies to uber applies to private car owners who come to the airport even to Airport staffs with little preference...Tell me how anyone will know who is an uber driver at the airport if you respect yourself....some uber drivers turn themselves to cabu cabu picking up people at every bus stops...is that uber......airports anywhere in the world have rules and regulations...designated parks which is meant for everyone....why are there no bikes or danfo at the airport even before the ban but is uber stopped from coming to the airport? Abide by the rules that is for everyone and you will be fine...being an uber driver doesn't make you a marlian...and there are no laws specially made to punish uber drivers...none....maybe they charge you more though...but you wont be harrassed just because u are an uber driver...
It says "strictly drop off"....dont spend more than 5 minutes...but then you are trying to collect your money from rider who wants to make transfer and you caught....then you say am uber.....Listen....Uber doesn't pay the airport managements... so they have no reason to treat you differently...that doesn't mean they harassing you....cos u an uber driver....

The country is lawless...yes...but being scared and acting cowardly wont make things better...atleast know your rights and defend it....If it doesn't work.....then beg....lol..

Femi falana. Since u know your right as a lagosians and patriotic citizen of nigeria.
Kukuma drive the car towards their checking points since its registered on ur name and claim to be an uber driver. If your matter did not end up at their ojodu branch, come back here i will replace ur driver's phones with recommended ones.
Which nigerian law backed sowore to be in detention for that long?
What offence has he committed as a nigerian?
What right do SARS officers has to stop and check your phones as a nigerian?
VIO that will commuters with no papers and start disturbin ur cars that are road worthy.
Lastma that will ignore commuters that beat the trafic lights and focus on private owners that did not fasten seatbelts.
Im just surprised the way people thinks Nigeria as a country has a concrete or rigid law.
This is a state where social workers are on the road to use every opportunity to extort u. Except if u have an uncle, fathers, God- mothers or aunt at the top. If not sorry is your case.
Continue to dey quote law.
Besides, uber is known to be having this same issue in some countries apart from nigeria. So, they should do the needful
The annoying thing about this issue is that it's been on for 2 years now on nairaland and no one here has been charged for this issue....Someone last year or 2 said he got the permit and was advising everyone else to get it....I hope he has renewed it now....
For 2 years now...it has been someone said someone said.....instead of them to share a real life experience...they are spreading hearsays upandown....
No official complaint to VIO by victims....No official communications to that effect by VIO...
atleast there would be an evidence of receipt to show to uber if VIO booked you for the said offence....
Now they are marching to Uber for an unsubstantiated issue....whereas the issues of bad roads, bad riders, low fare etc is still there..
How would uber take them serious?....what do they expect Uber to do if the action was illegally carried out by VIO officials?...as they will obviously deny it...
Anytime your name pops up here....the next thing will be hackney permit....lol....abi you be VIO.......

It's like u haven't fallen victim....come to abuja airport and pick up na tell them u are an Uber driver and u got a request. ... If u haven't seen don't say it's not happening...it's not about drop off ...it's not waiting time..

Don't talk about is Uber paying airport?

Abeg is airport privately owned ...no be govt ..has Uber not paid govt? Or the Uber drivers ain't paying gate fee or airport is not part of the states.

In Abuja airport is 3300-3800 I don't know care where the pick up is. Drivers these days have refused to go to airport unless the riders pays 4500-5000. Depending on the drivers or rider Sha

I'm talking about issues that is on radio and that I have seen....even riders are aware of it. ..

For sometime Uber spoke with them and they sropped. These days, they have started again. Now u will see Uber drivers parked very far close to exist, once they get a request, they will beg rider to walk to where they are.

Apart from that AMAC guys are there disturbing Uber drivers in Abuja town requesting Uber and collecting their car. If u check my previous post I said Uber does not have issue with VIO but if nothing is done, they will soon start.

Is u have data watch this video

In Abuja ..u don't have problem with vio or frsc once your papers are complete.. but u see those AMAC touts .... they are pain in the ass

I have witnessed a scenerio where an Uber guy just parked and they went to remove his plate number said he's doing illegal taxi work in Abuja.

I Abuja...if u get request from any. AMAC plaza....don't go ooo...your car will be impounded ..... Painful thing...no one cares about u

When I was in Abuja last December, one Uber driver explained to me how he was impounded by AMAC, and was fined 25k. He was able to pay 20k and then sent the 25k receipt to Uber. Uber paid him 25k with serious apology mail.

Uber cares, but you see Bolt??..... That means you'll sleep there.
