Have you met any celebrity?

Okay guys, just to get the weekend started, let's relate any encounter had with a celebrity. You can also share an encounter you had with them before or after fame.

I'll start...

I grew up in kaduna state, Nigeria. I had a cousin who was a local musician and a DJ who was only popular in our hood that time. He met me one day and told me he was going to organize a free show in order to give up coming artiste a platform to be heard in that area...

At that time, I wasn't interested in music at all, I was just going with him because he was my cousin. So before the day of the show, he introduced me to a young rapper who was not even known at that time. I could bet nobody knew him in his own street, lol.

So we got familiar with each other, meanwhile this was around 2008 or 2009....

The day of the show finally came, every artiste performed and that young rapper that was introduced to me earlier on got noticed by a record label agent or so, because I couldn't even remember what happened or how it happened, but from that day till this day, I haven't set my eyes on that rapper again, except on television...

That rapper was SKALES of E.M.E

Just three years ago Davido, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Burna boy met me in Dubai and were begging me for autographs....of course, I declined.

They begged harder and people around had to Intervened before I reluctantly did it for them

My wife and kids are my celebrity.

NKEM,OWOH, at roban stores Enugu, he just stepped out of a tinted car and a handful of people gathered and were hailing him, one man even started spraying him naira notes but nkem owo was staring at me. i just stood there and stared at him back for a while and the little crowd started to turn to look at me, then i left. it was awkward though.

mine was with wizkid and nkem owoh (osuofia) both were great. really enjoyed their company...

I've never really had one.

I remember though when Facebook first became popular, I searched for all the known Celebrities then and sent em friend requests.

Turns out only Kefee Branama accepted my request. I was overjoyed that day LOL.

At my then company's end of year party at Civic Center in 2009, we invited Banky W.

There was a young boy that came with him and my brother (that I invited to the party) was like "who is this boy jumping up and down at the back of the stage".

That small boy is Wizkid today.

So a friend threw a party at his house for vgc that's was about 3 years ago, alot was happening, babes, drinks. Next thing OBO showed up, menh nigga bought drinks, danced, flex babes. Baba was just free with us all, before you know it he began giving dou out. When my nigga nd i went inside with his crew baba no mind dey run em matter in front of me with zero worries insisting on gee nah gee level. We had our chats and moments before i left with some contacts nd he even optioned his guy's to see me off. I left with some cool donation and happiness. OBO to me is one of the best celebrity with a good heart, if not the best self. The nigga is cool, free, nice but has anger issues shaa. And once u provoke him you better shut the hell up nd allow him vex his vex. OBO higher you everyday bro.

well.. by God's Grace I have met with celebrities, dignitaries, I have also welcomed Ambode. I don't get freaked seeing them, I feel rather privileged.

but I think the celeb with a bit of issue is Ireti Doyle. That woman will snub you, you might even doubt your existence. I'm not saying I greet her . but people I saw greeting her were snubbed without remorse

Met one like that in a public transit (God is Good) first class, he becomes center of attention. ladies, guys taking selfies like their lives depended on it.

All this while I had my Dr. Dre headset on and blasting Eminem "Superman" and "3 A.M" on repeat... I didn't give a single, not even a tiny fûck about him till we got to our destination.
Funniest thing was: he was sitted next to me, didn't say a single word, nor acted like I knew him.

Inwardly he was pained, I could tell.

The only celebrity I'll ever give a fûck about in this life is Eminem and Enya..... The rest can go FT, IDGAF.

Mine was when I was at a show where many stars were performing. Suddenly I looked down and the person standing right next to me was putting on a trailer for shoe. The shoe big pass those olden days lorry no jokes.

I looked up slow mo to look at the face. Before reaching the face sef I've started seeing rainbow rags of many colors I'm like na dream I dey dream? only to see the face, lo and behold it's Derenle aka Dewere. Back then he was trending sha.

Honesty I didn't even know whether to be happy or hiss. He look me and smiled. Me sef just retaliated and face my front.

No autograph no selfie no shout out no famzing, if na by were me sef fee do am
