Please what are my chances:
I was refused a student visa in 2007 they said my sponsor ( father)didn’t have enough funds to fund my master’s program.
They also accused me of presenting a fake NYSC certificate, which of course was a lie from the pit of hell, as I completed my NYSC without issues and got this same discharge certificate I presented, and have
Please advice.

Was it laminated at the time of submission in 2007?

Go to the same site on which you filled the application and open your application, then navigate to the "provide documents and biometrics" link (continue and it will redirect you to TLS website) and click on TRACK button at the extreme right.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by phasow(m): 8:24pm On Feb 07, 2020
Upload button for documents on TLS contact is not showing. Is this usual?

Appointment is flexi and set for February 10 (Monday). Have a few more documents to upload.

Thanks in anticipation of a response.

How did you come up with the figure quoted as your annual salary or your personal savings?

The ECO wants to see you're earning an income separate from your business funds. Showing them receipts of recent sales is good only tk buttress that you have a business but it also goes on to show that the funds you have are for your business. Nothing to show the funds are available for your personal use.

Your personal savings may also not be showing a fixed but stead inflow of an amount that can be described as your monthly salary.

Your budget for the trip must not be more than two months of your disposable income (money left after you've covered your monthly expenses from your paid fixed salary).

Sharing details of your application might help us all guide you better.

please, what do you suggest I do?

Theres a high possibility that this same certificate may have been verified by organization I work for when I joined, and if it was fake, I would have been asked to leave.

You should have addressed this issue when it happened, now what you can do is when you reapply, use the opportunity to address it.

State in the additional information page with cover letter to explain when you previously applied, the ECO claims your NYSC cert is fake. State that you can confirm the cert isn’t fake, collect letter from NYSC if possible for the cert confirmation to back it up. Also state you would appreciate if your NYSC cert is properly verified this time to avoid false claim of unoriginality.

Oga only you know the truth o, follow this instruction if truly your NYSC cert is original. Ministers used fake NYSC cert na so Forget the story of you are using it to work in Naija, many Naija companies don’t bother to confirm Docs or bribe. I doubt if ECO would make such mistake of stating your cert is fake but nobody is above mistake.

Your receipts of sales you submitted is counted as payslip, not only when you are employed that you refer to it as payslip.

I will advice you leave this box vacant because you may have a difficult time explaining the figure you put there especially when your account balance does not tally with this amount. Just state your monthly earning on the respective column.

Update - As of yesterday, I could not see the upload button to add documents to my application. Checked again this morning and it's now available. So if you experienced same, I believe you can check again after a few hours. Possibly a glitch or maintenance from their end.

I already had my appointment booked and was weird when I first noticed. Great job to everyone providing useful info.

Cheers!

Ok, but if I separate my saving from my business account now. Is possible for my monthly earning increase more than what I once declared in my previous application. Previous application I claimed dt i was earning 285k, can i increase it to like 350k now but I will ensure I pay it directly through my venture account to my personal account for 6months.
Hope ECO won't question it why my income as increased because I want to start ds month again to b paying dt money through my venture account to my Personal account . So I can reapply again by July ds year
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 9:05am On Feb 08, 2020
Total amount u get in a year is total amount u get in a year.. salary and for example a property which generates rent every year is an income.. or a side business that brings in money every year is an income.
I think investments serve as financial ties/asset to my own understanding.

Ooh really? Never knew that but then it depends on the type of business ...if you're offering a service oriented business then that might work but when it is a merchandise-based business, it might be difficult to separate your business capital from your profit using the receipts alone ...I might be wrong but the ECO would want to make sure you're not using customers' deposits for supply of goods for vacation undecided

That question only applies to those that have other income apart from their salary. So you will state the total amount you get in a year on that particular income apart from your salary.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by bigtt76(f): 10:37am On Feb 08, 2020
Excellent idea. It doesn't matter, as far as you show clearly where the funds are coming from and your travel budget is not more than twice your monthly disposable income.

Good day all.

Am planning to relocate and work legally in UK in the next few months. Please what advice can you give?.

Any useful information on how to go about it.
How difficult is it to get job? Life style and the settlement Pattern. How much should I budget for my basic traveling allowances (BTA).Any agency or UK recruiter

Your useful advice is highly welcome.

Is it compulsory to have your budget for travel not be more than two months of your disposable income?? Even if you submit bank statement of 9months??

I will like to make an enquiry. Is your business limited liability or business name?

By tax clearance, do you mean tax clearance certificate?

From my understanding tax clearance certificate covers 4 years. If you earn up to 3 million a year it means you pay annual tax of at least 250,000 . Does it mean you paid 250,000 for 4 years (1,000,000).

Did your annual income on your tax clearance certificate match the annual income you stated in the form?

One option is for him to cancel, and start a new application all over again. The refund for the first application will take some time to come though.

It is not compulsory. But if you are going for vacation, it is highly recommended, going by people's experiences and the text of several refusal letters.
