I just finished Knives Out and I can say I'm impressed with the movie. Solid acting and a good and perfectly laid out storyline. A 9.5/10 rating for me.

Waves (2019). This started so well, the story build up was on point then at the middle it veered off not for bad actually but i felt like i was watching another movie entirely so much so i had to double tap my "VLC" and check the top right corner to be sure that i am infact still watching "Waves"... But ultimately the message was passed which made for a good watch overall

It was really a movie of two halves.. first half.. Pressure from parents to teens to succeed in life at all cost and teens balancing between living and been in the moment of been teenagers and not disappointing thier parents. The cause and effect reaction to all these closing up the first half of the movie

Second half was about acceptance and making peace with the past, redemption and looking forward to the future....

7/10

PS..the music director was so good, each song and score used conveniently buttressed the emotions on that particular scene it's been used.
