Invest 2020 Opportunities & Trade Ideas Summit move to PORT HARCOURT Attend our Port Harcourt INVEST 2020 Summit slated for February 8 at Emerald Hotel, No 193, Aba Road Rumuola, Time: 10.00 am. How to take advantage of the recovery stock market and 2019 corporate earnings season to change your financial position in a changing financial market and thinking as money market rates remain low. Take action that will transform your life throughout 2020 and beyond by getting the just concluded and life-transforming INVEST 2020 Opportunities & Trade Ideas Summit Home study pack (USB) that you can play on your phone, Laptop and Television set. The event, which held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, was yet another successful, insightful and educative outing that not only offered direction as to where investors should look for profitable trade in 2020, insight into industries, sectors, and companies to seek worthwhile returns. What stocks should you buy? Grab the pack for the 10 Golden Stocks for 2020 with the possibility of making returns not less than 40% in a year. Don’t sit on the fence call or text Stock to 08028164085, 08032055467, and 08111811223 now. What to expect in February and March • Continued volatility due to the lingering circular flow of funds, profit-taking and some disappointing some corporate results so far released. Also, the source of funds flow to the market may cause fluctuations as fund managers and institutional investors return to the market. The up and down movement will continue to create entry and exit opportunities. • More audited earnings would be released into the market this period. Earnings from blue-chip companies may strengthen market fundamentals, especially from United Capital, Zenith Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, Nigerian Breweries and Nestle Nigeria. • As players reshuffle their portfolio to move in or out of equities, discerning investors should target strong fundamentally sound stocks, high Dividend Yield and the possibility of issuing bonus shares, we should expect stock prices to be in the upward direction if their numbers beat expectation. • A more vibrant market as a result of market players positioning for audited full year and first quarter and then taking profit to reposition for the earnings season, even as we expect liquidity prices to improve with the entry of more foreign funds. • Market outlook for the month of February and March is still very dicey, but investors should decide wisely, using dates, bids, offers, and volume while doing so. • Managing risks and protecting capital at this point is very important, so you should be able to determine when to buy or sell by watching the stocks and the market, using technical analysis, aided by investdata buy & sell signal. • Let numbers emanating from companies and releases/markdown dates guide you into a profitable investment. richforever123: No matter how good a firms products or policies are, its the work of the personnel's to deliver the right quality of service to the customers and when the fail, every other thing fails. Go to their website you will see their inquiry mail, write to them explaining the poor service you have received so far and ask for a refund of your money( they may still ask you to fill a redemption form) |

All this fund managers, is there anything safeguarding investors money in their custody?so many fund managers have gone under in Nigeria and investors were unable to get a dime after their disappearance. To make matters worse some people invested their life savings in these fund managers. All of them will be claiming they are registered with Sec and the so called Sec won't be able to salvage the situation when any of these fund managers disappeared. I still remember the case of Aims Asset Managers, Mega Asset managers and several other funds managers that has disappeared. There is no record that investors were able to retrieve their investment till date and many investors are still licking their wounds till now. |

Dsticks47: ....Are you sure that is true? I haven't really tried other firms Eurobond apart from this your VDF and I can tell you it is that smooth. As at the time I tried it out in 2018, I was already used to seeing what happens in my investment account daily with SIAML so I thought it will be that smooth. My experience with VDF was however not so cool. I subscribed to that VDF for about 9 months and throughout that 9 months I never had access to know even if my account was growing or not. All effort to get that was to no avail. After trying and could not, I decided to terminate it. Then comes another wahala... I submitted my dorm account details as required and they started telling me sort code did this and that. I called GT connect and they gave me the details but they were still not satisfied. Eventually, I had to go to my bank(GT) and was given that same sort code.they gave me on phone that they rejected. I came back with it before it was finally accepted. Then I kept disturbing them for about two weeks before it my money was finally released. The money that later entered my account for $1,000 investment for that 9months was just $1. something. Maybe things have changed now but my experience then was no palatable. |

SaintUlot: You are always advice to do your due diligence in any investment venture. That is the best practice. However, note that different mutual funds have different form of risk. Not all mutual funds have guaranteed capital or interest, also there are different form of fund/asset management plans. In the case of the firm you mention they were not into mutual fund management. They managed clients stock portfolio with an agreed percentage and everything was centered on the NSE which has high risk involvement. So before you venture into any investment, check on the risk level involved. Again for your information your funds are with a particular MDB called a custodian bank where your money is insured. Apart from the regulator- SEC there a is trustee firm who monitors where your funds are invested. Notice your fund manager's account always have two account names together. One is the fund manager's while the other is the trustee's. Of course all investment has risk elements attached. Let's be well guided. |
