Just get a good car from 2003 upwards.
There's nothing special about the bolt comfort ride category. Intact, you'll get more request on the regular Bolt.

Hi
I have some questions to ask
1) Are there people with cars looking for drivers in the telegram group?
2) How best can one get a good driver using the telegram plateform or this plateform?
3) Are there new update on car specification for this year on Uber?
Thank you

Please I have a question when does uber or taxify take their cut? Is it included in the money that they showed you as what you've earned?

Pls brothers i need your advice now.

i am married with 2kids, i am an IT consultant, i am currently working as a full time in a company where i earn 150k monthly.
i have saved money to buy 03 Toyota corolla last month, i have customers that request for my services often, and the company does not allow me to attend to my customers base on the contractual agreement. since, i have gotten a car now, i want to be using the car as side hustle (Uber hustle i meant) and i want to be able to have time for my customers and when i am less busy i will switch to uber.

should i resign now and face my hustle or not?
Been having headache working with this company since 2yrs now.

Evening, from experience, I won't advice you to resign just yet. The Ehailing business is not as easy as it is being portrayed. Since you are an IT personnel and skilled, I'll advice you keep working, save more, if possible register your side hustle or business, get ready to be your own boss. As for the car, give it to reputable fleet management company and ull be getting remittances paid to you weekly. Still find a way to attend to your side hustle customers as discretely as possible for now. Keep your job now and think of ur family too.
Regards.

Please, kindly keep your job.

The e-hailing business as it stands at the moment and in present day Nigeria economy isn't sustainable or worth forfeiting a sure job for. Not with the saturation as it is with every Tom, Dick, and Harry taking to it.

Be advised please.

You want to leave SURE 150k per month for turbulent and uncertain UBER.!
Don't try it.

If u r into IT, your skills will deepen n you can consult.

What skills will you get driving Uber? Zero skills. Just another case of glorified taxi driving.

For you to earn that same 150k monthly on Uber , you will have to make a GROSS income of #280,000.

Gross- 200,000
You- 150,000
Uber%- 50,000
Fuel - 80,000

That means long hours on the road. Don't be deceived, you will literally toil to get such income, week in week out.

Don't misconstrue wat I said, you cud leave your job to pursue some better things yes.

But to leave your 150,000k job for Uber, Capital NO.

PS: Don't give anyone your car. Drive in ur little time , make any dough you can n maintain your family and the car.

Goodluck !

I know an uber driver on this forum .. He drives his own car and makes 80k a week after expenses... that is over 300k a month.. You can barely see him at the mechanic shop and he maintains his car very well.. He is the first person I ask if I want to know what is going on.. If he tells me market is slow , I take his word for it .. I rely on his feedback to make decisions ...

You didn't tell us how many MONTHS he spent working before he started making the ACCLAIMED 80k / week. Or he just started n making d 80k.

You won't learn anything as An Uber driver. Its not always about the Earnings.

The op is in Abuja. You don't have any idea of how transport works in d FCT.

Currently, there is no one dt can make 80k /week by doing Uber and Bolt.

Those that make REAL money in Abuja work Offline and Interstate. and not using Uber or bolt.

I was referring to uber in Lagos.. The guy that makes 80k weekly in Lagos ,has been doing Uber from the start when uber came to Lagos..he understands the whole uber thing. Trust me he is not complaining, I don't want to get into details with his future plans. But whatever it is he is very focus...
