Everybody agreed that okada must go. The concern is alternative means of transport

maasoap:

Okada as a means of public transportation in Nigeria cities has to go. It didn't start with Lagos state and definitely won't stop with Lagos state

Kudos to the writer of this piece.
. Ban on okada supported. But bring back keke and Gokada, then regulate them

I concur. This time they should be regulated. And anyone found wanting should have his/her machine seized. A warning should also be sent to the company that owns that bike for a ban should their bikes be found wanting. With that Uber bikes will give strict instruction to their drivers to drive with upmost care and anyone found wanting will be relieves of his/her job.
As for the keke marwa, those ones drive anyhow and disobey traffic light, some even drive one way and engendering people lives, other park inappropriately and causing traffic on the road.If they can regulated them then it will be better they return for we need them.
So far like the face of Lagos without the kekes' and okada defacing it is better. I remembered trekking along TBS this morning and was surprised at the calmness around that area. I did not have to look left & right continuously for fear of okada and keke driving at opposite side.

But Keke Napep shouldn't have been banned. They are safer than Okada
I'm not the governor, perhaps he know the reason why he banned it

We know you are not an Igbo person. We know you are a Northern Moslem.

It's obvious that it's his god father, the yellow teeth jagaban that directed him, perhaps. I won't say it's a bad decision, those okada men are a menace in the society and mostly armed robbers use them for operation, well atleast their would be sanity in lagos and traffic will be less.
Don’t me insult you this afternoon. Cos if I do your whole week wud be spoilt. I don’t think some of you who make this annoying comments stay in Lagos.
See how ppl are trekking from place to place , and even the ones that managed to get a bus gets stuck in traffic for hours upon hours . And you are here talking trash.

I even understand most of these Lastma officers are the owners of some of these keke marwa. They are also feeling the heat of the ban
