sexylassie: Do you really think Lagos drivers r heartless and mentally not sound? Or is just Newton 3rd laws acting on everyone, including you. When you say government and private individuals, that force me to think who is the government? For real let's get of pettiness, this ain't my opinion or me trying to make you b objective in your reasoning, since I've observed your work has consumed you, your bile is full of hate and you think its war b/w drivers and government agency. How many lastma officer(s) have been killed by uber drivers? Can you tag the lastma officer that committed suicide at Adebowale house dis month on motorist? If you do your findings well, you will learn uber drivers r d most friendly to traffic/motorist agency, but its so suck when you hear that word "Uber ni, hold em well" kilode! What if its uber? Do they carry two head to the world? An officer will b loose on other motorist, but your phone becomes part of requirment that needs to b check before passing judgement to u, that's unfair. Almost all uber drivers have complete papers, yet we r exposed to traffic police, lasma, vio, CBD, local government touts. The only force and paramilitary that doesn't disturb r Road safety and Police, they r friendly to uber drivers. I think the average problem with Lastma is they are egocentric because they feel like ppl look down on them, which is what you are trying to feed me wit Sunday, but I've grown above what you think of me cos I'm d one wearing d shoes, so ur shot and what u think won't foot my bills. I know too many lastma officers that have practically use dia salary for different cooperatives, so if they r not callously apprehending motorist they can't go back home not to talk of survival. it is a pitiable disma pisma, it is regrettably lugubrious that you are not seeing all these, but you r trying to come into equity with an unclean hands, the things you are seeing are heckney, Lasdri, heartless and mentally drained drivers. Change your view, u may see clearer. Need to know I don't take anything to heart, you came petty and got dosage of it, but I'm over that, all we should seek for is a fair and just society where everyone can live in one harmony. I don't need to leave my house in the morning and see your ppl as enemy and u don't have to see me same way. Hope your heart find light and understand we r all just trying to get by. Kudos to the VIO and Lastma officers still keeping it real and working endlessly for a better Lagos. 14 Likes |

peeps4u: You r right boss, but let's just assume she only understood what she knows and dia is need to put r on reality. I've never seen a human so bitter towards other ppl like her, maybe someone she is close to got killed by motorist and she think the only way out is to take it out on others. May we not b a victim of other people mistake. 4 Likes 1 Share |

AngryIgboMan: Bolt is cheap compare to uber, that's why they have all kind of riders. A rider even confess this to me yesterday, took her on a trip on surge of 1.6 and get to destination to see 1100, but she was kind enough and said she saw estimation of 2500 and that exactly what she will pay. In bid to eulogise rider and not just dia negative side always, another lady surprised me, got to pick up point and his friend is already dia to pick her, so she gave me 1k to hold body don't ask me if I reject it. 3 Likes |

100% on your recent post. The annoying thing is they still collect commission on toll fee drivers pay from his/her pocket. Honestly, had the government have genuine and serious means to send these guys outta Nigeria and better alternative for her citizen it would have been good but it just obvious that all the LASG wants from them is just money. Same way they threatened to close down computer village, Ladipo market and even katangura market but las las na millions running into billions that settled the matter. Same thing will happen to uber and taxify no doubt. Lets just keep our fingers cross and see hiw things unfold. 2 Likes |

famousguy01: The side with the tiny little hole goes into the catalytic converter downstream (remove the “DOWNSTREAM” sensor on the affected bank), and then screw in the oxygen sensor into the big hole. NOTE: Only use the fouler plugs on the downstream sensors because they are the sensors reporting the catalytic converter fault codes. If you have two fault codes on bank 1 & 2, then you need to buy two of those fouler plugs for both banks. I hope this is clear enough, otherwise check YouTube. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Angle-90-Lambda-O2-Oxygen-Sensor-Extender-Spacer-with-nut-M18x1-5-for-decat/172699193844?epid=920068835&hash=item2835ac91f4:g:unsAAOSwsqdcGzaY 3 Likes

Uber drivers protest as VIO clampdown intensifies in Lagos By Dennis Erezi 10 February 2020 | 1:34 pm Some Uber drivers on Monday marched on the office of the Lagos State Vehicle Inspection Services (VIS), protesting the recent clampdown on their operations on Lagos roads. VIS officials said the drivers must have hackney permit, Lagos State Drivers’ Institute (LASDRI) certification and that Uber must pay the operator license fee to the state government. “Uber and Taxify offices were closed. When the drivers got to VIO’s office in Ojodu, none of the officials came out to talk to them,” a Uber driver Adegoke Faloye told The Guardian on Monday. VIS officials told The Guardian last week that the enforcement of already existing laws guiding the operations of professional drivers in the state began recently. But a spokesman for Uber in West Africa Efosa Aiyevbomwan said the office was opened on Monday. Aiyevbomwan at the weekend said he was not aware of the drivers’ plan to protest. He said Uber was open to engaging the drivers to understand their concerns. During the protest, Faloye said VIO officials ordered security officers to send them away. He attributed the clampdown on himself and other colleagues to noncompliance to government regulations by Uber and Taxify. “Uber and Taxify needed to do the right thing to government since 2016. Government had written to them and decided to stop them since they did not comply,” Faloye said. Despite being on the receiving end, Faloye said their complaints to Uber has been ignored except a recent memo that surfaced on the application telling them to be calm. “There was a circular that was sent via the app that they were aware of the crisis. They said they have an agreement with VIO office not to disturb us,” Faloye said quoting the message Uber drivers were sent. In spite of the message, the driver said some of his colleagues were still stopped by the government officials on Monday. He said one of his colleagues had the side mirror of his vehicle broken by a VIS official. He said the clampdown had forced many drivers to down tools to avoid embarrassment. |

Now I understand, some of these people that come here to rant about Hackney are VIO agents looking for money and other mischievous miscreants. i have come to realise that most Nigerian men have low self esteem could this be because of poverty, when a lady counter them and show them their ignorance, they start blabbing and calling you names and wont counter agreement like a civil person this is a faceless forum, you can go under a moniker and abuse as you like, call me names but in reality, many of your types, wont hesitate to call me MA or answer with Yes ma when you know your salary is at stake. I see all these type of men everyday, they beat their chest daily on the street, act rude to you but act very humble in the office especially when they understand that their means of livelihood is in my hand. 1 Like |
