The earth is more than 4.5 billion years old... maybe the modern human existed at about 6 thousand years ago. But then this does not contradict the Bible.
If u check well, God first made the earth, separated water from land before creating animals.. the first animals were marine then flying birds before land animals and humans last.. the pattern or sequence of creation correlates with the evolution trend in science.. the marine organisms are known to be very old.. that’s why many fish-like parts are seen as fossils.. and humans are the most sophisticated because we are d youngest in d evolutionary trend.
Yes God created everything in five days... but remember.. a day in the eyes of God is like a million years to man!!!

Science is an unstoppable force!

My gratefulness to God is that: He is open for investigations, He never interferes with the brains of all individuals involve in this investigations and science is not limited to some special group of people(anyone willing and passionate about science can practice it).

A proper exegesis of the Bible, coupled with prayer and the perfect help of the Holy Spirit will lead us to the truth and right understanding.

There are many fossils of ancient life in Nigeria.. but no dinosaurs because the Nigerian sediments formed after d extinction of dinosaurs..
The Nigerian sediments are relatively young.. the oldest is of creataceous period... dinosaurs all died after d Jurassic period which is of older age
