Am from Anambra state Oraifite to be precise. I base in Lagos and have a cassava farm in Ogun state, Yewa north area of Abeokuta, I went for harvesting last week, my brothers and sisters, it was a huge lost as the harvesters claimed that the land is too hard and was charged exorbitantly coupled with the fact that am a stranger. Half of my farm was left unharvested until rain returns to soften the land, transport to move the products from the farm to market was also very high. However, come next planting season, we shall expand to plantain cultivation/ fish and snail farming. We're using a plantain estate in Ogun state . We also market unpeeled Egusi (mellon) in very large quantities. You also can make cool money doing the business of Egusi. You can make as much as 200k in commission. The warehouse is in Enugu/Abakaliki. If you need farm land in Ogun state, let's talk. WhatsApp +2348066166170 Email: linagold150@gmail.com Photo from Linagold |

Good day house I stumbled on this post, and reading thru has been a great delight, agreeably it is if not the only thread that started since 2015 yet still active even in 2020 I am from Anambra but based in Lagos and i am considering coming home to start a small scale commercial farming , I need tutorials on where and how to start, Where to under go a crash program, kinds of farm produce that flourish in eastern Nigeria and where to sell them Thank you as i look forward to your response |
Re: Anambra Farmers, Let's Meet Here by FarmTech(m): 10:28pm On Apr 23, 2020 |
Ezini:. You're welcome. You can start with vegetables like ugu, green amaranth, curry and scent leaves. If I had known 3 yes ago, those are what I shud have started with. As for selling, it is very easy. Market women can even come to ur farm to buy them. |

Happy Sunday Ndi-Anambra, I come across this thread yesterday while combing Agriculture section and have gone through the first page to the last, I will tell you that I'm very much impressed on what I read. Agriculture is the a trillion dollar business and market saturation is out of the equation for now. I reside at Nkpor and planning on going into animal husbandry, I am looking to lease acres of land around my proximity and will not be far from a water body. Here is my contact 09021449466. Please, if there is any whatsapp forum for Anambra farmers, I will like to be part of it. |
