It's called obe dudu by people from Ondo. Same translation as black soup.
I've never heard of obe efirin, though I know they use efirin as adjuncts in some soups like egusi
i stayed in Akure sometime back and i believe i heard people call it both obe dudu and obe efirin, no matter the name its called..its a nice soup smiley

Dinner by DH: Korean beef bimbimbap.

I submit my wine glass because once my wine glass appears, invisible wine appears and fills it up cheesy.

And it doesn’t count against me.

to make brown sugar, go to any supermarket and ask for molasses. its like syrup only darker and thicker.

combine this with your normal white granulated sugar, whisk thoroughly and that gives you brown sugar.

Please who can share me recipe of party jollof rice..please help a soul..my jollof rice doesn't taste like jollof rice ..
Please help me...

To get the sweet taste and colour of party jollof rice, the secret is TATASE.

Blend equal parts of tatase and tomatoes with as much sombo as you can handle.
After blending, you boil till the water content is almost dried up ( this is another very important step to get the aroma)

If you're the type that does not like to see onion in your food, blend a sizable amount of onion (for sweetness) together with the tomato/tatase/sombo combo

In cooking my party jollof, ginger and garlic are optional because that can easily overpower other flavours, but if you're a fan of ginger and garlic, add a small amount to the tomato/tatase combo before blending.

Another important step of getting a good party jollof texture is parboiling your rice.
You don't want your rice too starchy and gummy.
I use two different methods when parboiling my rice: the boiling method and the hot water method
For the boiling method, add your rice to already boiling water, stir, and allow to boil for like 5-10 mins (depending on the texture of your rice) before taking out and rinsing with cold water.
The hot water method is for when you're not sure of the texture of your rice or for when you have quick-to-done rice.
For this method, just pour boiling water over your rice, stir, cover and allow to sit for some minutes for the starch to come out.
After some minutes, you stir again, drain and rinse with cold water about two times.

The ingredients you're going to need are:
Curry powder
Dried thyme
Bay leaves (few depending on the measure of rice you're cooking)
Seasoning cubes ( knorr chicken is the best for party jollof)
Salt
Chicken or meat stock
Tomato paste (a little amount for colour)

If you're not clear on anything, just ask me.
I hope this helps.
Happy cooking.

This explanation is just awesome and almost gave me orgasm because it shows you are a good cook.

Most ladies here don't know TATASE!

I tell you, the only reason you were able to explain awesomely like this is because you cook most of the things you eat.

You ain't "I didn't cook but ate" crew.

Nice! Keep it up!
