Don't buy what you can't physically inspect, don't buy fridge, freezer, AC that sellers claim it need gas refill, change of compressor/condenser etc. Some people here just want gain to sell scrap for something, weyb say some of those things are to be disposed to dumping site

You're perfectly right my brother, apart from those negative traits you mentioned about him, he doesn't have manner and good customer relationship. kindly check the complains about his kind of person and his responses in the Inverter related thread.
Early last month when I wanted to change my inverter battery, I decided to give him benefit of doubt despite the numerous complain about him, I sent a message to his WhatsApp line, stating the kind of battery I wanted and asked for the price and his location. the next thing he did is to send a message that "Real Customer Call and not message to purchase items". I immediately deleted his number and look for somewhere else where I got exactly what I wanted.

Something I bought 110k in 2016 during the Buhari menace.

When he buys tokunbo that will consume his pre-paid electricity in 2 days, he will understand. These recent ACs are power conducive.

Wow. Sorry about this. Some weeks ago I contacted someone here for SONY sound system that he advertised. I went for pick-up and when I got home I realized it doesn't play DVD, only CD and other functions. I felt really bad because it was supposed to be something I'd give to family to use. And he never said it here that it had that issue.

I contacted him and he told me to use DVD cleaner. Wheeew! I just counted my losses and moved on. Got a brand new one instead.

So even with physical inspection, there's still a chance things will go wrong, but physical inspection is still the way to go.

would you believe i was suppose to pick it for a client the same day you went to pick it up. My client wasn't happy at all when i told her someone else had bought it. I could only console her by saying we would get something better.

young man, I'm not a billionaire, I hustle daily for bread through different legitimate means. Apart from phones and car, everything I have is brand new because I don't have energy for stress, and brand new gives me peace and pride. I follow this thread because it's fun for me, and who knows? I might stumble on an actual clearance item.
I have sold brand new TV's here as clearance, I have also sold brand new stabilizer here as clearance. I can't count, but I wouldn't come here and post items for prices that would be found in the market place and for less

When I was about to buy my ogbonge fridge from the good guy at ikeja, I did my findings very well o. I even told the guy his name, his work and where he worked, baba was afraid that how did I know all this.. it was after then I decided to send money to him.. May God bless the guy.
