Please my oga's, i have worked in my present company for 3yrs 8months now, its a construction company and we get paid in cash or bank (not from company account), on my payslips it shows pension and tax remitted, BUT I have never gotten any pension alert nor seen my tax receipts, prior to my looking into migration the boss is always like its when you are resigning we transfer your pension and all.

Last week I went to meet him that I needed it and he was been very evasive, its a Chinese firm based in PH & the accountant called me by the side and told me they don't remit shi-shi, He advised I keep bugging so they pay it, that I should even involve the community if need be, I intend dragging this case out and taking it to the highest level to have my benefits remitted.

Please I wanted to know if they finally pay it now, it won't be a problem of why they haven't remitted it since. I am so pissed off, some of this expatriates really take us for a ride.

No state is currently nominating the occupation based on the details you have provided except for NSW 190 but you will need a very high point to be nominated cos the nomination space left is "limited" for Microbiologist

Vetassess should be able to give you a positive assessment even if some years will be deducted. You won't know until you try though

Hi @tunlex01... I just started reading about the Australian permanent residency and i have some questions please. I'm applying for a friend and he has a degree in accountancy and 7 years work experience working in IT. I'm confused about how he can go about his assessment; will he be evaluating under vetassess since he's been working in IT? your response will be greatly appreciated.

What are my chances and which of the provinces can currently nominate this profession and which of the visa route is better: 491, 189 0r...........

Check www.anzscosearch.com/search to see the state nominating your occupation. Currently, only NSW is nominating MLT for 491 Stream 2 and it requires at least 5 years experience.

I dont think it will be a problem. Just make sure you have evidence of any issue that may or have arisen based on your 'dragging' (emails will be a good example). You can always attach and refer to them to explain the reason for the bulk payments.

All documents to be submitted to AIMS except your course syllabus must be certified true copy by a Notary public. You can goto any high court and ask for a Notary public or you ask any lawyer in your state of residence list of Notary publics. Prices per page may range from 300 to 1k, no let them cheat you.

I intend to apply for 491, my current score without regional pts is 65. At what point is the regional point added? If it is added, it gets to 80. 3 regions are currently sponsoring my SOL, how do they nominate? Is it based on the highest point, or based on what their current demand is? Eg, can a civil engineer ( which is said to have high demand ) with point 65 get regional invitation before a musician with point 90 ?

I want to know what my chances are on 80pts ( my target) as we don't want to spend money on spouse Ielts and accreditation except it is so needed. If it is, it will be wise to start the process on time to get nomination on time.

Secondly, have you gone through SLA to know if you are truly eligible to apply as a Solicitor
Thirdly, have you gone through vetasses to ascertain your husband can apply as Sales and Marketing Manager based on roles and responsibilities.

To answer your questions, both of you don't actually need to apply individually. One application is enough and the other can be a dependant.
However, to up your points, your spouse can go for assessment and English test to help boast your points.

Yes I have calculated my points. I hit the exact 65 for 189 and that is because I scored 0 for partner qualification. I will score an additional 10 if I claim I have no spouse at all? For 190, 80 points if we evaluate spouse's skills and its favourable and 75 if we don't. Yes I have gone through the SLA (cursorily for now) and I am fairly satisfied. I note I may have to write an Academic IELTS (I have a general one), but other things are in place. As for my husband's, I am still trying to figure out the information. I understand that his qualification will be assessed by AIM. I will do as advised though, thanks again for responding.

Thanks. But on the NSW website, it is said that 491 applications will open shortly...could it be that what you saw on Expat forum refers to 190 visa? I wonder what's really happening.

1. yes depending on the relationship
2. You need to get consent or custody papers (can't remember the exact details) to be signed by both parent. The other parent must give consent for you to be able to add the child to your application.
Only SA is nominating your occupation currently but you need 95 points for 491 visa.
