You're a VIO agent.
Its simple as that.
You can only frighten rookies and drivers who started driving in Lagos last year, not me !
I've been on the street long enough to take this threat with a pinch of salt. Las Las, na to dey carry machete, axe and pepper spray inside motor dey wakka
Don’t be silly, what kind of foolish solution is that bolt and Uber will conform, they will probably inform their drivers to get the necessary documentation within a timeline after which they will deactivate you from their platform no serious company, wants to runs foul of state regulation, put sentiments aside and prepare yourself

Some riders are desperately wicked and selfish.
So this rider without my knowledge hid WEED inside my car because he knew that we were going to pass through police check point.

After like 20 minutes wey I don drop him and his girlfriend, na so the guy call me say him forget weed wey him hide inside my car say make I come back say him go pay me. I abuse am wella before I cut the call.
I couldn't even find anything after I pulled over and did a quick search because it was about some minutes past 12 am.

So if to say yawa gas now, na for my head the thing go land due to say na inside my car dem see the weed abi ?

Another thing now be say I don search everywhere inside my car... still cant find the shit.
Is it that the weed is not in my car or it was well hidden that only him can locate where he hid it ?

One more thing guys... we've been invaded in this thread. so many spies dey here now.

Looks like a prankster to me, but report the matter to Uber to cover your back just incase

It is a good way to make passive income .. But it is not easy at all .. Finding good drivers, mechanics is another battle on its own.....some weeks I spend delivery money on repairs... Even though I handle my repairs 100% some ,drivers still will not remit ... it is tough at times and I keep my cars in good shape ... The only good thing am able to do is that to make sure the business pays itself. I don't have to take additional money to pay for repairs.. Some weeks are good ,some are bad .. Just like any other business you have ur ups and downs ... but you hope for more ups than downs.. If you don't have the passion that I do ,my advice is don't do it ....

How do you replace your vehicle due to depreciation , I admire your tenacity living in America and still able to make a passive income in Nigeria.

How can I get it from the site, though I find some on aliexpress but I’m not very comfortable with the feedbacks

The side with the tiny little hole goes into the catalytic converter downstream (remove the “DOWNSTREAM” sensor on the affected bank), and then screw in the oxygen sensor into the big hole.
NOTE: Only use the fouler plugs on the downstream sensors because they are the sensors reporting the catalytic converter fault codes. If you have two fault codes on bank 1 & 2, then you need to buy two of those fouler plugs for both banks.

I hope this is clear enough, otherwise check YouTube.

Who will bell the cat?
I passed through 2 Vio check points today. First without any rider in my car, second with 2 riders at the back. Them no even look my side. But I noticed that they packed corollas and camrys at the first check point ( ikorodu road inwards Lagos Ibadan expressway)

It depends on the mechanical condition before I decide to replace.. I do inspection on the cars every two weeks and like I said I handle repairs 100% by myself , including oil change..... And any repairs needed right away are done ASAP ... ..by doing so the cars tend to have a longer life span on the road... it does eats up my profit margin at times... I have three cars on the platform that are three years running on the road..
Since I handle the repairs all by myself. Some of the drivers tend to abuse the car and cost me to spend more on maintenance.. Once is getting to that point, I warn the driver once or twice .. After the 3rd strike ,I collect the car from them simple as 1,2,3 ... so now let the driver go out and find another partner that will maintain the car they way I do.. Usually very hard for them to find o. .. Majority of my driver are pretty ok ..

And keep in mind most partners are not hands on .....it's a tough business and you have to be hands on. If any potential investor or investor reading this .. If you not ready to put in the work , if you are not ready to be patient, if you are not ready to be hands on . And if you dont have a good mechanic on ground ( have change mechanics few times) most of this so call Oga mechanic tend to let their junior mechanic handle your car . At the end of it all . They end up doing a poor job and you end spending more money to fix the same issue, that was supposedly done by the Oga mechanic..

So anyone that does not have time to deal with the issue stated above. This business is not for you. You are better off selling cars like everyone else does in Lagos...

Have said this in the past before Ocar came into the picture. I said what makes uber so great is the technology they have. Their app is top notch and we see what happened to Ocar . Ocar came to the scene made some noise and tday now where is Ocar. Drivers complain bitterly about their app and eventually uber was on top again. Keep in mind Ocar is backed by foeign investors with billions of dollars...

So my point is for any other e- hailing company to enter the game .. You better bring in lots of money ,not only lots of money.. But more importantly bring in a good app or top notch technology app. Having a good app and expertise is the key...

Lagos State: Each Uber driver in Lagos State to pay N110,000 for Operational Permit
opera.comFeb 13, 2020 8:15 AM

The Code of Conduct Bereau explained some facts about the Operational license( provisional license) the Lagos State requests for.

In 2016, UBER/BOLT and Lagos STATE entered into an agreement as regards the Operational License, which stated that every vehicle that would operate on their platforms would pay 110k to operate. The operational license was meant to have been sorted out by Uber and Taxify (Bolt). But Bolt paid 5 million naira just 50 Operational license for its platform, while its said that Uber didn’t pay anything.

The Lagos State did the own part to lure them to honor the agreement which the E-hailing company didn’t respond to.

The new Lagos State administration is now asking for the payment and since they are not willing to pay, any vehicle used in operation with Uber/Bolt with out the operational license will be clamped down until the fee of N110,000 is paid by the owner of the car before using the Lagos State roads again

It clearly shows that many Uber/Bolt drivers are operating in Lagos State Illegally.

The operational license the Lagos State Government instructed them to pay is for life when paid.

Besides the Operational License, other documents are also required to be fully legal before using the Lagos State roads before you can make money from the E-Hailing business, LADSRI, Hackney permit, Road Worthiness and Car hire permit.

One of the Uber/Bolt driver got clamped and had to pay before he was let go.

what do you think about the Operational License payments?

Would should really take the responsibility?
