Hello Guyz, Please i about working towards processing a Post Graduate Diploma to Canada. I actually work with one of the Fed Govt Security Agencies and i intend going for a security related course. I am married and i think believe that i can come up with the school fees. However, i am quite aware that to process the Visa i need much more that the school fee's. Is it possible for an uncle who shares the same surname with me to sponsor me? My late Dad bro?

Will i also need to present my account statement to proof that i can comfortably cater for my wife and daughter while in school?
Can someone please reply, then what are my chances of getting a work permit if the program is a 1 year course. Most of the PGD's are often for 1year.

Can one use his fathers company account SOA ??

Hello Adetayoade1,

Sure, you can. If you can't be a beneficiary of your own father's company, who else can? All you have to do is demonstrate there is sufficient funds and convincingly explain that such sponsorship tendency won't cause any setback to the company. Also, include substantial evidence to show how well-established the company is.

All the best.

Yes, it is very possible. Do well to show proof of relationship and demonstrate he is financial sufficient. It is very important to show/demonstrate how you intend to cater for your family needs or how they would fare in your absence. Only showing your personal account might not be enough proof. However, you can show proof of a family savings account, your wife's source of funds, proof of allowances, investment, receipt of tuition payment for your child for a year (at most) etc

You can as well do a second program to get the complete 3yrs PGWP.

All the best.

Sincerely appreciate your advise. The said person has already paid $1000 cad tuition deposit required by the school. Please what other areas should we work on so as to convince the VO when it’s time.

Hello Simplymeeko,

You should heed to Mcobex's comments on your post regarding this issue.

So I've been trying to contact my school , Its in Turkey so I communicate with them just through email but they are currently on semester break so I cant get a feedback until maybe next week. And 15th is the deadline for MUN applications for the program I'm applying for . Apparently this is the only document empty on my checklist. I have worked for the company for some years as a international tube welder(certificates I got from series of welding trainings i have been) but want to go for welding engineering technology ( an inspection course) in northern college Kirkland.. Aldou am a graduate of materials and metallurgical Engineering but never applied with my bsc but my 0'lvl...
Aldou my school fees is down and up keep but I seek a sponsors..how can I convince the VO that my company is sponsoring...the other SOA I can provide is not the same surname.. How can I link any of them...Pls can I get ur email to speak privately

JustMellow:

Hello BossFingy,

The most appropriate and important question should be how much funds would be committed to the intended sponsorship... Just the promissory letter and statement holds no weight. In addition, if this said sponsor has no ties of family relationship to you, it might be in your best interest to use the sponsor's personal account. This is because using a company requires substantial convincing while a company would want to sponsor you and you role/stance in the company.

All the best.

Sir can a company’s SOA be a good weight to show sponsorship (the company is owned by my dad )
Company sponsorship hardly flies except the company is a very big one(shell, chevron.....) or has a good relationship with CIC in the past(by sponsoring other students and CIC is fully aware of it). I doubt if your dad's company falls I to those two options (I mean no disrespect).
Your dad is free to submit the company's SOA, but he should also(very very important) submit his own(CIC doesn't expect him to use money meant to run his company on your education). He should make sure he has more than what he intend to commit towards your studies in his personal bank account or better still pay your tuition fee and show that your living expenses is available in his account pending when you are about to leave for Canada ( but make sure you check your school's refund policy before paying any fee).
Submitting his company's SOA (with enough fund to run the business and also take care of your fees) will erase any doubt on the vo's mind concerning your funds.
Good luck

No one here can assure you of securing TRV but we can advise you on what we think might increase your chances of securing it.
Yes your uncle or anyone can sponsor you. As for your statement of account, yes you should include it since you are working and gave a family. Since you have some cash on your own already, let your uncle be a co-sponsor and you be the main(especially if it is a one year program). You can apply alone and use your wife and kid(s) as hometie.

Hello, I am doing great. It's still the same output. A lot of questions will be asked;
1. What do you bring to the company that's leading them to sponsor you?
2. Why would they want to spend all that money on one person?
3. Will the directors, shareholders etc allow the company sponsor an individual etc...
How about in the case where the owner (applicant’s brother with same surename)of the company is the sponsor ?
Meanwhile, he will also add his private account.

Guess what? It's a MEDICAL REQUEST . My special thanks to frankrobbn1 for making this a reality. He is the brain behind my application beginning from the admission process down to the Visa application. He singlehandedly packaged my second application after been denied of my visa. He wrote a convincing LOE that addressed the reasons for my previous refusal, and assured me that everything will surely fall in place this time. He also included volunteer reference letters that also strengthened my home ties, since the VO was not satisfied I will leave Canada after studies. My brother I forever remain indebted to you. Believe me, you're a guru in this Canada immigration and my life changer. Keep doing that which you know how to do best bro and my God reward your good intentions towards humanity.

Hello Deveid,

Prior to the completion of your Graduate Certificate (often referred to as PGD/C) you can then go for a Master on the grounds that you already possess a first degree.

All the best.

Thanks, but the reason for going for Graduate certificate now is because of the low cgpa of 2.8/5. And most school say you must possess a 3.00/4.33 in a degree program and not a certificate program.

Thanks... Frank only addressed the reasons for my refusal with a three (3) pages well-worded LOE. He included 2 persuasive volunteer reference letters for me from different organisations which stated that I'm an active member of the group and will return home to continue my role as a leader and participation in meetings. I guess this letters did a great job in my application. Lastly, I'm for the spring 2020.
