Joebie:nah, he isn't. For now sha, Yobo has no immediate engagements, and until he messes up, I hold my peace. Except a coaching license is a necessity, as in, without it, he will not be allowed to coach, I reserve my comment....besides, for all we know, man is working on it right now. |

How are you sure he will? The burden of explanation rest on those who are backing Yobo, because he has nothing to show for it. It can go either way but I have more reason to believe he will not improve the team coaching wise than otherwise Danielnino00: |

I defend the appointment of Yobo as our defender trainer. The NFF needs to go back to work and find us a sound assistant. |

Just like in investment you have to look at your chances before you put in your money or you could decide to gamble. I call this a gamble Danielnino00: |

Joebie:yeah, I know. But then, like I said, he has no immediate engagements Nigeria neither qualified for CHAN, nor the Olympics, so, as far as the next four to six months goes, Yobo will no be doing any actual coaching. |

Joebie: I don't ... Rohr handled the team quite alright in the absence of Imama who was overseeing the Olympics qualifier.. I think he can do with a rookie who has some knowledge of the game . Rohr might end up being the one to nuture Yobo.. 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 5:18am On Feb 14, 2020 |
jihday: Siasia did not coach the 2005 team without qualifications.. He got his badges in the United States. Siasia however did not improve himself and as such could not get jobs outside Nigeria. His lack of qualifications hampered him a lot. If he improved himself, maybe he would have become a top coach because he had the potential. Amuneke and Oliseh have UEFA pro licenses. That is why they can get jobs everywhere. Adepoju also has a UEFA pro license. |

Coaches need to work hard and earn their licenses. This idea of gifting jobs is not professional in the least. There are better qualified coaches in the local league and it is not fair on those working hard to learn how to coach.. 6 Likes |

We don't always have to settle for less when we as a nation are capable of doing better. It's just different perspective. Danielnino00: |

Rohr has drawn several matches against weak teams. If I mention now, you will give another excuse. jihday: |

Let's not get things twisted. Rohr has proven to be a very good manager. But let's call a spade a spade, he not achieved anything new or better than the best record we've had in the past. |

jihday:Siasia had his credentials and started from the youth teams. You guys are reaching with this Yobo dick riding. He doesn't deserve this job. Simple as that. |

Joebie:Punditry. Just imagine. Rohr has already said he wasn't his decision so this makes even less sense to me. |
