Before I start I will like to say that this is in no way a contravention of rule 20. That is why i will not mention any Mods name. But since i have no other means to complain, written emails, mentioned Seun and all to no avail.

20. Complaints to or against moderators must be sent privately. Please don't disobey, disrespect, or defame them

This is an issue to affects nairaland as a whole. A lawless society leads to anarchy. But it is even worse in a society whose laws are vague and ambiguous. This is a network/news site, it serves a audience to some, a market to some, a clinic to some and whatever you need it takes care of. But to the major issue which is a mod. I have seen people being banned for breaking the rules. But comments that didn't break any rule being deleted by a mod is very surprising. On a thread in the phone section one of my comment was directly under an abusive statement. And my comment that didn't break any rule was deleted by the mod. And the abusive one was left in the full glare. Now I woke up to see my account that has not broken any rule had been banned till 2029. And for absolutely nothing, if I am doubted the honourable supermods can go and check. I know most likely this thread will be closed once again. Unlike other monikers I have no alternate accounts. This will have moved others to open alternate accounts. Thereby spamming the forum with unused and forgotten monikers. Even at all I'm to be banned for no just cause. Is a 10 year ban for not using any insultive words or contravening any rule justifiable? Bans should have a limit. And in this case I have done nothing wrong . And I have used other means of expressing my grievances and gotten no reply including mailing the mod that banned me for no just cause.

To me it seems like something is changing hands. Which may or may not be so. In this very evident case of being a judge in your own cause. I hope that I will get the justice I deserve. Or will this case be closed?

The phone section is bedeviled with all manner of breaking of Nairaland rules and is left unattended to.

I will rather be banned for life trying to bring the truth to limelight. Than to swallow this bitter pill of injustice.
