The boy slave. The adventures of souza. Akpan and the smugglers. Things fall apart. Arrow of God. Pepper soup and the road to Ibadan. Gullivers travels. Oliver twist. Actually won the best reader in those days lots of novels were given to me as prize. Oh for those days! Wish i could turn back the hands of time. |

Ayomideen: Ralia isn't the little girl with a blind mother. The little girl with a blind mother is a book titled ' Sweet Mother' by Kola Onadipe if I'm not mistaken. Ralia the sugar girl and Sweet Mother are two different books by same author. |

The era when we were boys and girls. Odenigbo by Thomas Chigbo Published by Evans Africa Library. (1974) .. I think you can still get a copy from Amazon.com The story was about a brave farmer and Hunter who was despised, but became famous when his trap caught a leopard... I love that book chai, one of my juniors then came to our house pleading, I gave it to him hoping that he will return it after the end of the term.
