Call them if you can. No way your Visa will be ready in 15 days. The embassy will even request for an extension letter if they want to consider giving you a visa. The date is just too close. Keep sending reminders if you don't have a number to call them on. Goodluck Govkaybee: 1 Like |

Govkaybee: I think Naija2Germany answered ur question perfectly, if you have someone here they can call or visit the school on ur behalf.....uni have a lot of emails worldwide and it might take while to respond to yours. Call them or ask someone here to visit them it will make the process of you getting an extension faster. All the best |

Guys, The offer just landed . Masters in IT security Management Arden University Germany. But my fears are: 1) This is a UK based university with campus in Berlin Germany where I am to study. I DON'T know if I will be entitled to the 18 months stay after studies. (Study duration I year) 2) Survival in Berlin and chances of getting work ( Any idea the type of work) Please advise. Congrats. In my opinion, i think you should be entitled to the 18months stay. Berlin is the upcoming silicon valley and with your course, you should be able to get something great. However, it won't just fall on your laps. You gotta work for it. But yes, there are many opportunities. Both for part time student job and otherwise. Concerning survival, accomodation will be your biggest issue. I don't know if your school has enough accomodation, if not, start searching now. Valembon: |

Govkaybee: Call the school. Check the person in charge of your Programme and explain your situation, speak slowly so they can hear you. Tell them the situation at hand and how hard getting an appointment is. They will surely find a solution. Make sure to call in the morning around 8-9am. Also if it’s possible for you to enroll without being there, then pay the enrollment fees, send your enrollment documents to them via courier and get your Studienbescheinigungen, take it with you to the interview. You don’t need enrollment extension if you have already enrolled. For you to enroll, you need health insurance, register with TK or AOK if you ain’t up to 30. In the meantime. You might wanna give details on how you got your appointment so others can see. 1 Like 1 Share |

Laminated copies of documents usually can't pass the neon/argon security check. If there's a way you can safely remove the plastic, please do so that you won't shoot yourself in the leg from back. Vecharry: |

elvis190:First of all when did u graduate, I am saying this so u wouldn't waste your time, before you book category A, U must have graduated not later than 2018, with a first class or a second class upper. Another option is you must have a scholarship financed by the German authority or the EU. Please be sure. Thanks |

elvis190: Unless you any of these, either a B2 German Certificate, a TESTAS certificate of score above 100 or a DAAD or sponsored scholarship from a recognized body. You don't qualify for category A. An honest advice is that you book under category B to avoid bouncing |

Hi everyone, Please I really need you help on this issue. Last year I applied to schools(winter semester)got admitted more than one university but no AD because I applied late I guess. Because of the new changes in the visa process, I am now in cat B instead of A, I applied since 4th of oct 2019, no AD still. I just got married this year and my husband is in Germany ........ 1. I still do not have AD 2. Do I book for family reunion instead? Because my husband is already working. 3. If I do that while I still have my application for a student visa application ,what’s the implication because I think I can book the two at the same time. 4. I don’t know why I wasn’t given date, and I fear I might be bounced after so many applications and trials for AD, Guys please what do you think is the best and easiest way to go to Germany. Kindly help me because I have no clue what to do again. 1 Like |

amikable97: Like i said, i ve for family residing and working in Germany for a long time now and they are the ones sponsoring me, thus i hv a sponsorship letter...As regards getting an AD i will by God's grace. My ish is on how to front the VO during the interview, so if u can help me with some past questions, i will be grateful...Thanks |
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by teelaw4life(m): 1:07am On Feb 15, 2020 |
elvis190: Bro. Congrats. You can check previous parts for VO interview questions. However, what the last guy said is true. It doesn't matter if you have family over there or if you're using a sponsorship letter. Fact is you obtained your degree earlier than 1st of January, 2018. But if you book under Cat A without any of the following: Testas cert, B2 german cert, Scholarship or a 1st class/2.1 grade obtained not earlier than 2018, the embassy will turn you away for booking under the wrong category. 1 Like |

elvis190: If you check previous parts you will see questions from various people. But I hope you know having sponsorship letter or family doesn't qualify you for CAT A... Goodluck |
