Go for the GCMS note first You have not broken down the application to an understandable level yet. The documents submitted, what she does, her earnings and all.... What strengths were you banking on for it to fly? 1 Like |

sunkymatete: You actually need a "calm-down" pill. There isn't much any one can do for you on this, you've to exercise patience going by the last update you have so far. Being processed means being processed. For a somewhat better monitoring of the application, kindly search on the thread for how to link your paper application online and do so. That's your best shot right now at calming you down. 2 Likes |

Xplorezee: I believe the documents submitted have name and contents na. Every application should have its strength, what was it for this one? There's a reason you expected the application to scale through seeing what you submitted? What was the sure and glaring reason to convince and comfort the Visa Officer that she'd leave Canada after the visit? What were the finances like, both from her end and you guys? Is the last child's MITT admission stuff really an advantage here? Several questions actually |

It doesn't matter. My mum aplied for a visit visa with no travel history. Did you state a distinct and convincing purpose of visit? Xplorezee: |

Markab:she applied for a Super Visa ( this visa terms are quite different from visitor's visa)..... besides, no two application are same. I applied for my Mum too with no travel history, she got the Visa but only 1 year validity. |

Xplorezee: From my own view i think you should have started firstly by applying tourist visa because super visa is not that easy anf One of the key requirements for obtaining the Super Visa is insurance. Super Visa applicants must submit proof that they have purchased private medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company which is valid for a minimum of one year and offers a minimum of $100,000 in coverage for health care, hospitalization and repatriation and is valid for each entry into Canada and available for review by a port of entry officer...do you add that insurance which is often like 1000cad 1 Like 1 Share |

Echinedu1: I know about that too, and I uploaded a document in support of that cause are insurance was done already, to start counting by next month. Already made payments for first and last month. In the end it is what it is |

Temas: I think u understand the situation best, and I really I understand the reasons better now from your point of view, infact its logical. But I taught stating that she will be staying for a year first and only doing her insurance for one year should count as something,Because the only reason I did one year insurance is to buttress the point that she will be leaving by the end of Feb 2021 as stated. I am definitely going to reapply for the super visa am just confused about using the same documents with a strong letter of explanation OR ...... I don't know . Thanks a lot, I feel better now, all I need to do is restrategize but my brain isn't even coming up with nada. Thanks all, I really appreciate your effort. Y'all are the real MVP 1 Like |

Temas: You mean she was given 5years visa with one 1yr validity at a stretch? Or she was given just 1yr visa overall |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Temas: 1:46am On Feb 14, 2020 |
Xplorezee: I will still advise you apply for tourist visa ( visitors's visa) .Hopefully she can get more than one year validity or up to her passport expiration ( you will need her to help with the new born, you can also get a letter from you family doc/gynea to bolster reason for inviting her over) . You can then extend her stay here in Canada by applying for extension. My mum was given just ONE YEAR on her visa though multiple entry, i am going to apply for GCMS note once she land.. i need to know the reason for that. 2 Likes |

Ofcourse I know what a supervisa is, rate of refusal is very low compared to regular visitor’s visa. I asked a question to better understand what documents are submitted and how credible the application was. Applied super visa for my mother in law and it was approved! Temas: |

Hello House! Please can someone help me clarify if there's such a thing as 'applying too early'. I intend visiting Canada in November but would like to apply by end of this month or early March latest. Is this fine? Bearing in mind the long waits some people have had to experience of course... |

leinad111: sure it fine ,you can apply earlier,Canada visa duration it often in the range of 6 month to end of your passport validity based on your travel date ..so if you apply earlier .the visa officer see your travel date and will put that into consideration if visa granted |
