Well, that doesn't mean there won't be a second batch. Time will tell. Besides, that person isn't powerful or well connected enough, people are still getting into DPR as we speak, this I am 101% sure of.

The time frame for d completion of d process, how 9000 applicants were contacted for interview in a day and d way 1050 successful candidates got success mail also in a day clearly shows that it was way better than dpr process in any way you want to look at it

Did he come for the interview?

The concluding part of the NNPC recruitment is what we wished that of DPR would have been, from the means of contacting the successfuls which enabled it to be done at the same time as opposed to calls which was used by DPR and had an irregular pattern with no calls made on some days . To minimal rumors of APL flying all over the place, in retrospect we were too engrossed by the praise singers of the faux demigod of integrity.

I remember some people walking in to find their APLs on their dining tables and even those who tried to sweet talk us into believing that certain DPR staff commented on their intelligence as the reason they got the job, albeit it was just dodo.

Or is it Neverdown's list that saw him get banned, not forgetting El... who confirmed his name on the list at FCC but was never called. We can never rule out favoritism, even in the case of the NNPC recruitment, but it'll be a lie to say that they did not handle the entire process better than alot of other agencies/depts in the public sector .

I think the phrase "moving on, move on" has become some sort of a cliche on the thread, so there's no point going down that path. In the end we'll all be fine, despite the bitter, sweet, sour experiences that accompanied the entire process.
