You were lucky.

In BTW. How were you able to get away from them?
Were you at the front end of the traffic? Cos deir usual style is to block u inside traffic.

But I thot dy said all enforcement shd b suspended. Or DT one na audio things too?

I just think LASG just wants to bring a new competitor and they feel the two giants in the operating space mite stifle their new born baby

All I know is If they buy brand new cars to do their usual Eko taxi racket. They woukd b in for a rude shock.

Cos the traditional Lagos taxi driver won't b comfortable with the current pricing system and the long hours associated wt d job

They might be thinking of introducing a new hailing’s taxi service, but l doubt they will want to close down UBER,
Let’s keep watching and get UBER to show more decisiveness in this matter, Drivers are unsettled and worried

My thoughts exactly. You see the way they're going about this enforcement, its glaring that they have an agenda. May be someone so close to Tinubu is about to launch his/her own version of online cab and if they don't get rid of Uber/taxify ,they won't have a smooth operation.
Ever since they banned Opay ,one egbon on my street has been jobless, Bet9ja is the only thing he's been consoling himself with.

UBER l hear, has 30,000 drivers on its platform and it’s an American company

pls house am new here, am planning to go into uber biz. somebody want to give a car on higher purchase which i must deliver 150k per month pls house can i achieve this? because i want to quit my 60k job for the uber biz please advise

You need to factor in alot of things. What if you fall sick or car has slight issues or family obligation or anything prevent you from working a day or two? Because at 150k per month that means you have to work all day of the month

Let me get something straight: Did you get a request to drop a parcel on Uber at Lekki, set destination on Bolt and got another request on Bolt toward the same direction where the parcel was to be delivered? How were you able to pull this off? Because you will certainly go off course on Uber, picking up the Bolt rider and dropping off the rider before proceeding to drop-off the parcel on Uber. Quite a complicated one that will inflate the uber fare for the parcel. This doesn't sound cool to me. And when you get blocked for fraud, y'all will complain that you don't know what you did. This is a classic example of what can get you flagged for fraudulent use of the app. This can get you completely deactivated. Just stick to a trip in one app, get done with it and move to the next. No need taking such risk and complicating things.

There's no comfort in the truth, some tinz r better left unknown grin

I've never for once delivered package on taxify except for uber.

The day I was to do I cancelled the trip immediately the rider informed me it was an errand trip, I quickly started trip and it was a cash trip I just simply cancelled.

If you must do errand trips make sure its uber weather cash or card u r good and if it's bolt make sure it's card else simply cancel nobody go die.

Are you trying to get info or its a genuine scenario you painted.

Regardless let's get it straight.

My broda, a whole #150,000k monthly remittance !

I don't care how mañy aeons you HV been in Lagos. A newbie can't deliver it.

Why do pple think there is so much money in dis ehailing thing.

The day you don't work, you won't see shishi. and forget all DAT stuff about working one day to cover other days.

I'm not discouraging you o. Just giving you a mental prep to know wats coming ahead.

From my little experience, any day I make something worthwhile in dis racket, at least I wud b on d road for like 12-14hrs.

N ditch d 8-5 work schedule, wat you wud get is irregular work hours.

The seniors will come and add theirs.

Hey guys please please and please you guys should be watchful and smart when dealing with those LCC workers at the toll gates they're stupid, illiterate, thieves, heartless in FACT call them anything y I u can think of.

3-4 days ago one of them guys gave me a bad N500 note as change, I'd already gotten home when i notice. Kept the money in the car with the hope to use it anytime I pass through the toll gate. Yesterday, as I was to pass through fortunately it was the same guy that gave me the note. Giving him the same money the guy siezed the money saying no change for me unless I bring another one. He never accepted he gave me the money (of course what proof do I've after all?) They suceeded in wasting my time even their oga at the customer care office stood in support of him. I'd to guve him another 1k note b4 I was able to continue my trip.

But thank God I'd the last laugh at the end of the day, I used the same money to pay passing through in my next toll.

So guys always look every note they give you as change each time you pass. If you're not ok with it reject it instantly.

Also, always make sure you collect receipt each time you pass the toll gate just for evident should your toll not included in the total fare. Two weeks back I lost 200box using the ecard on lekki toll gate, no receipt is printed each time I use the card, uber requested I take a photo of the receipt but I'd not evidence I just let it slide though.

Lastly, always check for the time and date printed on the ticket given to you for evidence purpose because should your fare not be included those r the information uber needs to refund you. Make sure these 2 information tallys as when you pass the toll gate. Most cases I've been tickets printed 5min 10min backwards.

To before warn is to before arm.

I don’t argue with them when they give me bad notes because I’m going to give it back to them and they dare not try to reject it but one thing I have noticed is when you pass the exact fare lane I get charged from my etag account and still pay the fare with cash. I complained to one of them and he said I should stick to my lane (Etag lane)

....and it’s not only the exact fare lane that does this. Well it makes no sense to me because I prefer to pay cash at the admiralty toll for change.
