Supreme Court To Hear Ihedioha’s Fresh Application February 18 by Nobody: 12:15pm On Feb 15, 2020
The Supreme Court has fixed Tuesday, February 18 for hearing in the fresh application by erstwhile governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha challenging the judgement earlier delivered on January 14.

A message was circulated on Saturday announcing the hearing date. But one of the lawyers representing Governor Hope Uzodinma, Festus Jombo Esq said although he heard about the new date, the office has not been served the hearing notice.

Ihedioha in the application dated February 5, 2020 and brought through his counsel and former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Kanu Agabi (SAN) is praying the apex court to set aside the judgement.

Ihedioha and PDP listed five grounds which they said the apex court erred in arriving at its decision to nullify the March 9, 2019 election and declare Uzodinmma winner of the election after he presented excluded results from 388 polling units.

The fresh application is brought under Section 6(6) of the Nigerian Constitution 1999 and Section 22 of the Supreme Court Act, 2004.

Good luck to the parties involved.

Lyon too shouldn't waste more time once he recovers from the shock.

Reviewing the judgement is one thing, admitting errors is another entirely.

If the same set of judges who delivers the judgement are to review it, Ihedioha's chances are slim.

The total vote vs accredited vote calls for major concern. Some of the judges must be dreaming about that huge error, asking themselves how on earth they commited that blunder

Imolites want Emeka Ihedioha .

David Lyon should also go back and tell the supreme court that they erred.

He should tell them that his running mate did not submit forged documents but that all those names are his for which he has sworn affidavit.

If Ihedioha reclaims his mandate, then I know something is brewing... smiley

It would have been confirmed that the SE/SS are deliberately being shut out of APC.

GEJ and Madam Patience's visits to Aso rock some days back may have been to sway the Supreme court to favour David Lyon.

Alas, it wasn't to be. Buhari cannot imagine himself and GEJ in the same political platform - directly or indirectly... grin

SE and SS must learn to play opposition for once in their political lives.

We Yorubas did it for ages and we didn't die.

Nigeria must not become a one-party state! angry

SE can't be merged with failure,

The court should add up the numbers,

Numbers of counted votes cant be more than accredited

The supreme court judgement on Imo is a clear judicial miscarriage of justice.Imagine the valid votes massively exceeded the number of accredited voters.

This time around if the supreme court should rule against ihedioha, we expect good reason why and not that nonsense they did before.

Peter obi is a case study.

Besides, seems like the international community is seriously beaming their torchlight on them this time around.

His deputy should have addressed the public if he isn't guilty but he is in hiding.

Blame oshiomole, not even inec for what happened to Lyon.

No uproar yet except oshiomole ranting.

Presidency isn't even talking nor core apc leaders.

And if care is not taken, ihedioha will win them in this legal war as the odds are strongly against uzodinma.

Oshiomole think Nigeria is in his pocket.

Kogi loading.

That Supreme Court verdict against Ihedioha was the madness of the century though

Ihedioha is dead and buried.

The evidence the court asked him and INEC for, he is yet to produce it. He's jumping from court to court.
