We are here to share views and know what goes on as regards customs valuation and clearing procedure .
I will like to share a template how customs arrived at their valuation .

For instance vehicles that are from 2015 to 2020.

It's good you know the MRSP first which will enable what you are to pay as surface duty and
It's applicable this way.

Benz C300 - the MRSP as at 2017 was US$43,500 multiply that by 326
Then multiply again by 30% so this is what any valuation officer will arrive at as surface duty ,then you now include releasing, gate control , terminal+shipping charge . If you get your valuation every other thing is just by the way.

But if you have to do level valuation is different ball game.

If anyone has reservation about the above. We can share more . No body knows it all.
