This is one of the slaves, if not the only one who bought his freedom from his master.

He's not a crowned king alaye, more like the chairman of a particular tribe union in a town, not even a state.
Remember, your king was also removed and sent on exile to another land some years ago in that state due to his agbero behaviour and stubbornness.

Again, it's the same stubbornness that made your kings in a neighboring state to fight themselves in a peace meeting. One even boasted he beat up the other.

I don't know if it's ignorance or lack of common sense that's wrong with you business owners, you are seeking audience for your work and the first thing you do is to insult a major race in the country,I wonder who will patronize you now.

I am Igbo and absolutely gutted by what you wrote. It is unnecessary and unfair.

I'm about branching into kindle publishing as I love very much the idea of residual income. I see you make very nice KDP covers. How much are they?

I'm actually Yoruba. What if I was actually Igbo?

Are you not the same person posting about Imo politics on other threads.

Now, I know your problem: reading, understanding/comprehension...

Did you see any thing relating to their source/origin in this post?

The post is about the slave that were moved to that side during slave trade period and so on.

In that case I carefully read the posts, which is why I always defeat u guys.
In this case I went by only the headline - I posted so someone can summarize (as u just did!), as I didn’t read OP

When they could no longer bear the slavery, 250 Igbo men conspired to kill every white man in the land. Although they failed, their song for freedom cannot be forgotten:

They have always been and will continue to be the ones that hate oppression of any form or kind.
Not the type that sits and wait to be spoon fed.
They love been free..
And free they will be.

This thread did not remotely say anything about Igbo heritage or origin.. this thread is about the igbos who were shipped from Africa to Jamaica during the trans-atlantic slave trade and how they influenced Jamaican culture.
I believe you have a brain that is capable of reading and understanding, not just tribalism.

It’s a big shame you’re tribalist. Do you know I had good intentions to ask about your quotation. I’ve been trying to get someone to publish my book on Amazon for a long time now, especially the cover page design.

But seeing your attitude has changed my mind. I would look for someone else. If you can bring such acute tribalism to an innocent culture thread such as this, who knows what you’ll do to my book before it gets out.

I’m an Igbo and would you expect my patronage when you openly detest my ethnic group.

Jamaica Manish-water is Igbo Ngwongwon, (the use of all parts of a he-goat to make a sort of watery savoury soup)(it is supposed to be prepared mostly by men)) . Yams, green plantain and all sorts are added.

The word Obia, mistakenly attributed Ghana, is also in fact from Nigeria. Opia in Nigeria.

When it comes to spread of influence to remote region of the world, Yoruba are unrivaled. The evidence is so glaring that an unadulterated Yoruba is still being spoken by a large section of Brazil, Cuba and some South American country. Even the culture are still retained in their original form. Yoruba gods and diety are also identified in these region. You see them worship Obatala, Sango, Yemoja etc

Imagine their King selling land, is that not poverty?. The funny part. These lands will be sold off to the Igbos. Soon all Western States will become a no man's island. Colonisation on the move grin grin grin
