The case was reported to the Jikwoyi divisional police station, arrest was made but the culprit was released the next day without serving proper justice.

The family is living in fear as the culprit is threatening to kill all of them.
This girl is in pains currently and she doesn't deserve what this lady did.

When her mom was asked to state what transpired, she said around 9 pm she and her children were laying on the bed when she heard her neighbor exchanging words with her son, so she went out to tell her son to come in as it was already night. Immediately her neighbor caught sight of her, she broke bottle and everybody around scampered for safety, unknown to her the lady had gone into her room to stab her daughter who was already sleeping.
The father of this girl is away on official duty, it's only the mother that's at home with the children. The culprit came back threatening to do them more harm bragging that she's a regular customer at the station, she's known to be using bottle, knife or any weapon to cause damage.
From my findings this is a case of accumulated hatred as the mother of the child has reiterated that she had never provoked this lady in question.
May God protect us from evil people.

Thanks for this suggestion, the case was taken to the traditional ruler of jikwoyi (chief) and he ordered for the rearrest of the culprit. The police has effected the arrest and she'll appear in court this week.

The good news is that the monster of a lady has been sentenced to 3 years in prison. The judge didn't waste time in sending her to keffi where she'll be spending her time judiciously. Khadija finally got justice.
