I think it's time I talk about this narrative "main chick and side chick"
This is actually for guys..... Who's exactly the main chick and who's the side chick?
It's a very funny but true fact that I want to establish on this post or rather what I call an unpopular opinion
First of all as a guy you should be happy and thank God everyday for making you a man(trust me you don't know what you just escaped) call me a patriarch duhh!!
I like to refer you guys to one old Timaya song with 2face(its about that time) nigger made alot of sense in that song that it took me years to actually understand it�
So I was at a friend's birthday party yesterday, the frenzy was high, spirit was mad and everybody was already feeling wasted as we all waited for the celebrant to show up with his "Main chic so we can cut the cake make everybody dey go house" dude had a lot of expectations on this girl but she never showed up, probably somewhere catching groove with one oga like that and my guy dey here dey wait.... All of a sudden the only person that came to his rescue was a supposedly side chick, babe weh u no take serious �she had to fill in the gap as auntie main chick don on movie for my guy.. We ve all had one of two experiences in this regard and this confirmed my conviction
I had to actually grab the mic and let everybody know exactly how foolish it is for us to actually be creating what I call emotional boundaries,, investing alot of energy, time, loyalty, everything with a lot of expectations on people that doesn't even worth it all in the name of LOVE
So the truth is this, so long as there is no real marital commitment as it's supposed To "baba that babe no be ur own, and auntie that guyman isn't yours baba just have to do what he has to do , we re all just acting and fooling ourselves
What I'm I tryna say?
Simple...... Love Is real no doubt but if u think u love her that much go ahead and settle down with her or him, there's no main or side chick they re all doing the same thing for us, and that's how the circle goes, don't think u have her cos of the present pleasure and the magic of the moment , it's just ur turn to pilot the ship until the final consumer will arrive and cart the ship away and all man go disembark ��.. I could imagine the disappointment in his face when he got that call "baby I can't come out I'm cooking beans for my uncle"
So am not encouraging flirtation or fuckery cos if u carry disease na u sabi but my advice is, live ur life, keep as many friends as possible, identity everyone's role in ur life and make sure u are true to urself, know what you want and ... Whoever u feel is the one that beats ur heart go for her and do the right thing, stop creating emotional boundaries because at the end it may not worth it, and for the ladies y'all are too fragile and always at the receiving end, yet you claim to be the ones having all the fun but it's lies cos who got f**cked Can never be unf*cked, so be careful how you play cos at the end the men might actually have nothing to loose, time have taught me alot and I will conclude by saying this according to Timaya "we re all just acting but Jehova In Heaven is the One directing"
