getting Saka to pledge to play for Nigeria would be a steal. hope the NFF can play smart and not scare Bukayo off with unnecessary attention and spotlight

Icon4s:

Bukayo Saka is a natural winger and only a make-shift wingback. There is nothing wrong in we adding him to our pool of wingers. His stocks are rising and for a boy who just turned 18 last September and already contributing so much to a top EPL team like Arsenal....Nothing wrong in he competing for a place with likes of Simon, Kalu, Musa and Chukwueze. We need competition in various positions in the team and here it is.

Reason why the coach can't afford to put him on the bench. One word 'Indispensable'

Our national team has greatly improved over the last 4years. We are making progress though slowly.

We now have club regulars who are also indispensable.
Ekong
Ajayi
Omuero
Awaziem
Aina
Collins
Ndidi
Aribo
Moses Simon
Osimhen

Hopefuls
Dessers
Eijara
Eze
...

Gone were the days when 80% of our first team was made up of bench warmers. With time we should be able to phase out those not commanding starting shirts in their respective clubs.
You can smell Rohr all over our football's progress...

For me Adama is my favorite player to watch in the EPL this season. When he gets the ball in space there is not a more athletic sight. I think he averages almost 5 dribbles a game and when u add the fact that he has good end product the guy is must see TV.

If u are looking at goals only then Salah would deserve the slot but overall Adama has been much better this season

IMO he should forget about being a winger because I something special in him at left back.

I would start him at that position right now.

This are one of the things hindering the development of the league ... It is what Pinnick and rhe NFF should be finding solutions too rather than trying to force npfl players into the national team...

There's nothing like European black or African white...

Mbappe is African. Sancho is from the Caribbean... they are both black.. they have African bloods in them..
Is Ndidi not black ? Isn't he rated among the best defensive midfielders in the world?

The truth is the Haaland got into the spotlight after that 9 goals he scored against Honduras at the u-20 world cup. The world took notice of his progress since then and it followed it up with impressive stats at Salzburg and now with Dortmund...
Everybody has the right to prefer one to the other..

And BTW, Salah isn't a white African.. he is Arab.. Arabs aren't classified as "white"

Isn't the inclusion of NPFL players part of the terms of Rohr's new contract ?
Wasn't it what we discussed for days here ?

Yes he is tied with Salah and that claim is still correct/valid because no one from the continent has more in the Big 5 leagues across all Comps.

Osimhen this summer will be costly and only a Big Team will land the boy. A super summer awaits us all. cool

chrisooblog:
Victor Osimhen still making me proud smiley. was reading a claim on twitter about Osimhen being the highest scoring African in the top 5 leagues with 18 goals if we count all competitions. Actually he's level with Salah who has more assists. if Lille sells Osimhen for anything less than €60m whenever he leaves the person who signed off should be thoroughly flogged.

Bukayo at LB and LWB doesn't look makeshift to me anymore. He fits naturally into those roles. On the RW, Chukwueze will still bench a Saka. On the LW, Simon, Onyekuru, an inform Kalu, Bonaventure etc are just overkill for quality competition.
Saka will get games but not as much as he will in the full back role.

Saka can walk into our team right now as a LB/LWB and START. He will also be a quality cover for the Attacking Wing roles but I really think that right now, he offers as much firepower and top quality as a LB too.

Lol... Don't mind Robbie. Even Sterling knew better. Lol grin

On this Saka matter, Pinnick has spoken about this kid before. I just hope he is following that talk up with behind-the-scenes action to land him.

As for the those wanting him to be Ghanaian... we will compensate them. We dash them Chuba Akpom. They should manage him for now grin We will dash them more in the summer.

BascoVanVeli:

Think that had to do with some guy saying he was Ghanaian.

I hope Pinnick is on it because it is becoming a real subject.

Btw look at Robbie saying he would select England over Jamaica like Jamaica na country grin

Both of you are trying to make the thing look like racism but it isn't...
It doesn't matter which country they played for.. they are both blacks with African blood! Mbappe could have played for Cameroon and still retain his status as the best young striker in the world if his form was the same...
Was Yaya Toure not regarded as one of the best midfielder of his generation? Is the African ?
Balotelli is black but played for an European country, didn't he get racist abuse in Italy ?

Halaand being rated ahead of Osimhen has nothing to do with skin colour.. He broke into the limelight just last year after the u-20 world cup and hit the ground running immediately at Salzburg and hasn't stopped yet..
