Osimhen was also doing it at senior football level in Belgium before Ligue 1.

Ofcos Awo was also good there.

Odey is just starting out. Was good in Switzerland but just starting out in Belgium and haven't done what Awo did in Belgium yet.

Please who brought this Osimhen/Awo talks. Is this necessary?

forgiveness:

What has Osimhen done in senior football apart from what he is doing in Ligue 1?

What has Odey done in senior football? Enlighten me.

Osimhen has scored 18 goals this season for a start

Awoniyi is living on the tag of 'Liverpool player', Odey delivers when called upon

Why didn't Osimhen score 18 goals in the Bundesliga?

How many goals has Odey scored for U23 and this season?

if Osimhen had not leave wolfburg, we won't be singing his praises/hyping him

meanwhile COLLINS was german brought up

AndSunGorilla:

What is your point?

The guy is a ghost, He needed Osimhen to save him in the U23 qualifiers, couldn't qualify us for olympics scoring only 2 goals

We really don't have many names that did it in Germany compared to the number we have that did it in Belgium, England, or France. So point taken.

You are very correct. Sunny and Victor did very well in the Bundesliga. But then Forgiveness didn't say Nigerians have never succeeded but that not many have which I think is correct. We could only come up with 4 players over like 20 to 30 years. I hate to admit it but Forgiveness has a valid point.

Salah has 18 goals and over 13 assists, and the Adam has 7 assists and 4 goals....
Just imagine..
Adama can never ever be in Mo Salah's class

Salah is reaping the reward of playing for a well oiled machine. How many of those goals were winners? How many penalties did he score? There are two types of tests. The stat test and the eye test. From what I can see with me eyes on the field of play Adama has had a better season than Salah. Where would Wolvehampton be without him? Without Salah Liverpool will still be at the top of the log.

But Osimhen struggled in the Bundesliga, the same way Awoniyi is struggling. However, Odey is yet to replicate what Awoniyi did in the Belgiums league.

Eto made top 3 footballer of the year like twice if I rember correctly. But during Etos prime, there was a certain Ronaldinho who won at Etos expense the titLe world footballer of the year. So Eto Fils was very well recognized.

If Samuel Eto not winning a ballon d'or doesn't let you know that the system is biased then I don't know what will.

The point remains that when Henry left Juve he shined and when Osimhen left Bundesliga, he started shinning. We should wait for Awoniyi to move away from the same Bundesliga Osimhen failed to shine before we can say he is overrated.

This is very bad.
So if you are not a career politician, you stand no chance.

Apparently so..

But being an ex footballer doesn't guarantee that u will be a good administrator..

Football is business too .. .. it's just the appointments in public services in Nigeria are hardly on merit..... Connection and sentiments usually influence such appointments.

On Odey, you are only repeating what I already said. Odey haven't done what Awo have done in Belgium. That's what I said.

On Osimhen in Germany. We all know he battled Injuries in Germany. Not the same case with Awo in same Germany. Awo is fit and has not just been given chances to play. He hasn't been given a run of games to show his stuff.
That said... Osimhen just didn't have it good in Germany bcoz even the little chances he had, he was played out of position several times and not given a proper run of games. The injuries too didn't help.

He has three penalties...
salah has been one of Liverpool's best players.....
his game intelligence is another level to Adama...
this is like comparing a lion to a goat.
I've watched Adama, yes he's improved his end product a bit but he's still not good enough....
he's a one trick pony who if you limit his space,he looks clueless..
salah creates the most chances in this Liverpool team based on stats...
This underrating of salah is mad.
