Emotions over logic and perhaps it might not have been the decision of the governor as he’s only one among many senior family members who might have been in charge of setting the grave.

However, all mortals have their own limitations and faults.

Broke Governor.

He can't even afford swimming pool and theater inside the grave.

See as the 6x6 grave just looks empty.

He should go and learn work from Adenuga.

If ee see Adenuga Mama grave and casket, death go hungry am.

Now what is the essence of the lighting?

Waste of money.

This is why I like the Muslims; they don't spend carelessly for a burial. (Dem go just wrap the person for mat throw inside ground). But the Christians in Nigeria, they are ready to spend their life savings on a one day event as burial.

If the lights will show him where the Road to heaven is, then why am I complaining?

udom na mumu sha. The dead doesn't know all this because he has a bigger job of accounting for his deeds in this world. The papa, the casket, the attire, the gold, everything will perish with the decomposing body of his father. If he has the chance to see what is there in the grave, he'd weep and regret wasting state resources on irrelevance and vow never to loot again. Where did christians get their style of burial from sef? It's even strange and foreign to their own religion and holy book. Vanity upon vanity!

Power, money, respect all comes to nought after office in Nigeria. He should ask himself if all the people that attended his father's burial would have done same if Akpabio had succeeded in removing him in 2019.


Let him do good to the people and remember that there are also old men in Akwa Ibom who have worked and deserve decent life and burial, when they die. The tempo of construction of projects has dropped since Akpabio left office, even though Akpabio was a thief.
