Imo: Agog As Supreme Court Revisits Judgement by lackren(m): 9:22am On Feb 18, 2020 |
Nigerians and the people of Imo State are anxious for today’s the Supreme Court review on the January 15 controversial judgment, which sacked the election of Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party as Imo State Governor and declared Hope Uzodinma of the All progressives Congress, APC, as authentic governor of Imo State. Recall that the apex court declared Hope Uzodinma of APC who came fourth as the winner of the March 9 governorship election in the state. In the unanimous judgment of the seven-member panel, read by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, the apex court agreed that results in 388 polling units were unlawfully excluded during the collation of the final governorship election result in Imo State. Justice Kekere-Ekun said with the results from the 388 polling units added, Mr Uzodinma polled a majority of the lawful votes and ought to have been declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC READ FULL STORY HERE |

The best scenario PDP should expect is new election because INEC does not have results for the said 388 polling units. |

After all these reviews, some supreme court judges need to be dismissed especially Mary Odili. She is a mole in supreme court since the day of Wike case. |

muykem: INEC is responsible for carrying out election in Nigeria and not Supreme court. If INEC does not have the results for the so caleed 388 polling units, it then means there was no election there. This is simple. How can INEC provide documents that they did not use. Secondly, if the Imo election is canceled, the rerun would be between Ihedioha and Ararume. Why? because, the same Supreme court declared that Uche Nwosu was the actual winner of APC's governorship ticket. Since Uche Nwosu has both the APC and AA ticket, he was disqualified by law. Hence, Hope Uzodimma is the governorship candidate of no party. There is no hope for hopeless Hope Uzodimma. Even Ararume's method of emergence as the APGA governorship candidate is against the Nigerian constitution. He emerged without election. So, if supreme court wants to redeem their image, they would declare Ihedioha winner. If they have no shame, they should keep Hope Uzodimma as governor. |

NJPot: The supreme court is now an incompetent sharia court. They have brought in the sub-standard sharia law methodology to the supreme court. That is why we are seeing this type of judgment. Boko-Haram is now everywhere. 1 Like |
