Are you from Imo?

No, I am not from Imo at all. I am not even from SE.
Not only that, I am not even remotely connected to any of the parties in any way. I just have a very strong sense of fairness and justice (unfortunately, I think!)

Clear case of injustice. In data analysis, there is what we called analytical review. If that is done , it would be glaring with abundant clarity that a person who couldn't score more than 30% in any of the 325 ,175 polling units accepted by INEC can't just score more than at least 98% of votes cast in the disputed 388 units while others scored about 1%, at most. In some cases , he even scored himself 110% . The fraud is glaring and the supreme court should do the needful and save faces.
Your stupidity is an example of of ungroup data! You are more confused than Imo PDP and PDP as a whole

The thing another bribe be say one day you go swallow the one wey go hook you for throat.

Supreme Court of Nigeria is in a very ethical and legal dilemma. The whole thing is now a charade. They failed elementary mathematics in their quest to satisfy their paymasters. Nigerians can never get anything right. Even a whole SCN could not cheat the appropriate way.

The two cases are not comparable. Disqualifications, as in Bayelsa, are common in politics. Imo, on the other hand, is not like any other SC judgment in recent memory. In Imo the Supreme Court, in broad daylight, unabashedly aided clear fraud and rigging that even an elementary school kid can see is fraud and rigging.

You are not wrong in any way.....

It must be Seven.

Under the 1979 Nigerian Constitution, in order to be elected President on the first ballot a candidate needed to receive both the most votes nationwide and at least 25% of the vote in two-thirds of the states. However, at the time of the election, Nigeria had nineteen states, two-thirds of which in exact figures is 12.66. A dispute thus ensued over whether
Shehu Shagari had received the necessary threshold by winning 25% in twelve states and 19.9% in Kano State, which Shagari claimed was two-thirds of the required 25% threshold and represented the remaining 0.66 in the constitutional threshold. Obafemi Awolowo claimed that the threshold should be rounded up to thirteen states, which Shagari had not met. The Supreme Court of Nigeria ruled in favour of Shagari.
That was in 1979,things have changed.we have 109 senator.two third of them is calculated as 73 instead of bringing it down to 72

Which of the events, please?

Nothing like spread....if APC had no candidate(s), whomever wins the LGA is first á la Zamfara.

I think, we have over-flogged this issue of Bayelsa. What's done is done. Some of you arguing now, already know it's a fact that it's a joint ticket....so when your party is disqualified....what you get is 0.
Anybody who wins, wins.

Make we leave this matter abeg, you and I know APC is using this request to clean off Imo.....which is exactly what I think will happen/.

Am not arguing about whether pdp made the spread in zamfara and bayelsa or not.its a non issue.what am saying that if the supreme court had validated apc votes in bayelsa, two third will be 6 lgas not 5

The request for adjournment coming from this man that want review badly....The Ihedioha and Co should know this is not a normal "Appeal".
I cant believe they are not ready ....what nonsense...I was actually looking forward to end of this matter today (whichever way it goes)

Wait for the full report

I'm supreme court.

1. You file your appeal
2. The respondent reply
3. The appellant reply the respondent
4. All parties file written addresses
5. JSC decided.

In this case PDP filed appeal.

APC just file in their Repsonse this morning, even in piecemeal their is need for Repsonse to that and that is the request.

Everyone know judgement cannot be today

To further drive home my point, that 1979 judgment is seldom referred to.in the us senate, there are 100.two third should be 66.something but it is approximated to 67 instead of 66

Seem you did ot read the full news.

Agabi applied for time to file his reply to APC respondent.

Which is the normal thing to do.

Appeal reponse is in 3 way.

Or you think Agabi will be dull not to file response to APC reply.

When Apc Had not fully file their responses

Now they realise they need to file more documentary evidence; the documents the didn't know they should have filed from the inception of the case from Tribunal till it was finally determined at the Supreme Court. A case of systematic re-litigating of the case in the guise of review.

Lol.
Only a Supreme Court which does not know its importance would go for this review.

Don't mind him. Always trying to twist facts to deceive the uninformed. He even said you file written addresses when actually it's not required in a review.
