Okay Dan. Here is an earlier answer I gave you in the post below.

Whether Osimhen was Brazilian or Gabonese, he would still be this same Monster-Machine Osimhen not so? Good.... And these are my thoughts on him irrespective of his nationality.

On Haaland, whether he is African or Asian, it doesn't change the fact that the monster attributes he has are his abi? Good again. This is it on Goals machine, Haaland.

My verdict: I will always go for the the best of both worlds Everytime.

Let me tell you a small secret. In the time of Martins and Yakubu, I always had this mad admiration for Eto'o and Shevchenko. On no universe was I gonna allow patriotic sentiments say Martins was at par with Eto'o even when he was once the deadliest striker in the world based on goals per mins ratio sometime in 2004/2005.

In that case, I respected myself very nicely and accepted the truth. But in this case today we see an Osimhen with the potentials to be the greatest Number 9 we have ever seen from Nigeria since Yekini. And you expect me not to state the obvious? Come on man... Is it not I who also hyped and praised Frenkie De Jong on this thread even though he is Dutch? I spotted him so early and predicted he is destined for bigger things and he is Not Nigerian. I have not even dared say we have a midfielder in Frenkie's class.... Mbanu. So you decide if na patriotic sentiment dey behind my stance on the Osimhen-Haaland discussion or whether it is me just using my informed knowledge of the game having watched and seen enough classes of strikers come and go.

You make up your mind. wink

TheSuperNerd:
I will rather go for a striker that boast the best of both worlds. Hardworking and a super finisher of chances. That guy is Osimhen.

For finishing chances alone, Haaland like you've said. wink

But for both Finishing chances and providing more depth to the role by putting in more hardwork for your team... Osimhen is the man indeed. cool

Typical Nigerian....
Anyone who doesn't toe the same line is a hater or enemy of progress...
Anyway like I said, osimhem doesn't have the tools to reach a mane or drogba's kinda level...
I think Nigerians like you are just eager to see a world class player so will cling to anyone who shows a little potential and hype as the next Lord and saviour....
Unlike you I see things for what they are....
Osimhem is a good player....and that's it

What tools have they please?

at 21, Drogba was playing at Le Mans, played 30 games and scored 7 goals. League 2. In his first Ligue 1 season, he played 34 games and scored 17, at 24yo

at 21, Mane was playing at Salzburg, played 33 games and scored 13 goals.

at 21 this season, Victor has scored 13 times from 24 appearances, already besting both Drogba and Mane at that age, and 5 goals into besting Drogba's debut Ligue 1 season.

Yet, you're saying he can't reach their level, at the same age, they weren't even as prolific as he his.

Osimhen statistics are good for his age and he is highly rated by campos who is an internationally reknowned coach and scout. Going by logic he can reach mane or even aguero level.
A lot of good strikers were average at his age

Liverpool's midfield isn't for creativity... It's mostly to provide cover for the overlapping full backs... Keita, Lallana and Chamberlain are the main source of creativity in the team...

What is wrong? Did Barcelona take him from them for free? Can't they replace him with another player?
