I submitted my application on the 6th of February, my medical was shown as passed (18th), but I am surprised to receive an ADR for the completion of a schedule A background declaration form. What does this entail? My friend who submitted his earlier was never asked to fill any form, plus, the information they are requesting for will be identical to the one that had been provided. Please I need a bit of clarity as to the purpose and its significance on my application. I know cases are judged on individual merit, but why isn't it a normal requirement for everyone? Thanks.

@Uchboggy Please DO NOT decline your ITA. Add your wife and your scores would be recalculated. Since your first score meets the cutoff, you should be fine.

ITA at last but with a mixed feeling for me and my wife.
Our profile as a couple was 468 since October last year so she wrote ielts last month and added 2 points to the score making it 470. My profile was expiring on the 21st of this month so this was the last draw before expiration.
Initially we had agreed to see what this score was then if it didn’t get to 470 today then I will go alone unaccompanied(crs of 475). But because of the anxiety and tension and uncertainties we had to change our mind yesterday and agreed that I go unaccompanied. Now draw comes out and it’s 470.

it's true. After your ITA, you'll have the opportunity to add your spouse but your score will be recalculated. If it falls within the Score that fetched you ITA which in this case is 470, you are good to go. Do that ASAP.

Please, did you include attestation of birth for your sibling? My issue is that my brother doesnt have, and I'm wondering if we can have one done for him at national population commission, so we can use for the application? I would also appreciate a list of documents you submitted for siblings points... Thanks in advance for your response.

Not sure about the attestation of birth because my sibling has a birth cirtificate, which was what i used.

For Proof of Siblings relationship: Birth certificates(for both you and sibling), biodata page of international passport(for you and your sibling) and parents marriage certificate.
For Proof of Siblings residency in Canada: Internet bills, credit card transactions, mortgage documents and drivers licence.
Proof of PR of sibling: PR card/ Canadian passport cover page of sibling, citizenship document of sibling.
Proof of status of sibling: Same documents as proof of PR.

this one na wild dreams. Where will one see the so called job offer. Also needs a PHD.They currently have existing programs similar to this. But many of us cant qualify.make una stop this false hopes

Someone just shared that an application got rejected because they provided incomplete police certificate

I submitted only the pink part and got ppr. I don't think thats the reason why applications get rejection for pcc o

Of course you can. Used normal local government birth certificate for my application

What do u think is responsible for the increase in number of ITA( from 3500 to 4500) ?


1. To compensate for the the missed back to back draw in January

2. For IRCC to make up for the number of declined ITAs

3. In other meet their 85k target or they now have higher admission target

4.To flush out the 470s and give room for 460s that are equally qualified that can Canada can benefit from.

5. To get more families to settle in canada. Is always difficult for non-single applicant to have high score.

6. They are planning to take a 3 week break or conduct FST draw but don’t want to CRS score to go astronomical.
