I'm surprised people liked Jumanji the next level, I prefer the first part, this recent one to me was kinda predictable.

The Director of this movie is a genius.....
Great Camera work..
The plot/script isn't that special but The Cinematography, settings,s ound were just fabulous..
Sam mendes deserved his academy.

Can't believe some people here thought Joker could win best director

it reminds me of DUNKIRK.

Someone first mentioned the sequel here in December last year, some days into the new year.

I also posted it in my anticipated movies of 2020. I was trying to say it was old news in a sarcastic way.

The Highwaymen..8/10
Genre: Biography, Crime, Drama

The untold story of the 2 retired rangers who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. Acting was superb, Woody Harrelson was outstanding for that role, cinematography & directing were very good.
After seeing the movie, i had to peruse different versions of the story online, and i must confess, the movie was quite historically accurate. Which makes me wonder why it had such ratings on IMDb & Rotten tomatoes most especially.

Jumanji: The Next Level..7/10
Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy

Next level was pretty good, though Welcome to the jungle was more lively & had more action & adventure than it. The comedy was very hilarious especially the grand pa character, Dwayne Johnson really did justice to that role.
From that ending, It sure seems they're spinning Jumanji into a franchise. Well, i just hope they continually stick to this formula of theirs.

Too much happening all at once with with bare minimum ‘development’

Someone described it as ‘tripping over its own feet trying to throw in as much colour and quirkiness’ and I thought this was the perfect description.

Nevertheless, there’s definitely a ‘type’ of audience for it so I understand its marketable-ness.
