raumdeuter: Thanks for showing your dishonesty. Chelsea Manning is a hero. She exposed how the usa military killed civilians in airstrikes both in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yes, She broke the law but considering what she educated the public on, it makes sense for her to be pardoned. Now, you are comparing this to Trump who pardined rich scammers and thieves who were his friends or associates. Is that the same? 2 Likes 1 Share |

garetz: 1. Trump hasn't served 8 years or even a full term like Obama 2. How can anyone ascertain trunps true wealth when no one has his tax returns? 3. Can you point to any Presidential policies Obama used to enrich himself? I can point to many Trump did eg positioning his family in federal govt business. Using his hotel for official govt business. 3 Likes |

JeromeBlack: Who is Chelsea Mannings allegiance to? To US or to Iraq? Her action exposed American soldiers on foreign soil to more attacks but she doesnt care she did it anyway Thats the problem with you liberals you care more about Non Americans than Americans. You were wailing about the people coming in the caravan while there are thousands homeless on the street of LA NewYork and major American cities You spent days wailing about Soulemani who killed Americans, You are here celebrating another person who puts her own interest and Iraqis over Americans 6 Likes 1 Share |

JeromeBlack: Any soldier who kills civilian, there is a military process to handle such not for people to be leaking security information that puts American soldiers in danger When people are fighting Americans do they discriminate against civilians. When Al Qaeda was bombing America did they separate civilians from non civilians. 3 Likes |

raumdeuter: Very naive comment. 1. There was a military cover up of the incident. That is why the videos of killing civilians were leaked. Jesus christ man, use your head. 2. Is Al Qaeda a legitimate military force or a terrorist group. Are you comparing them to American military that is bound by international conventions? |

coluka: ...Michael Bloomberg...thinking he can buy his way to the democratic nomination...as a commentary said, "Bloomberg's performance was like a fart in a church - hugely embarrassing, but you just try to forget about it and hope the smell doesn't linger too long"... ...So who is Michael Bloomberg... .... An electrical engineer with a Harvard MBA who went on to head equity trading and systems development at Salomon Brothers... Bloomberg created the startup we call Bloomberg LLP today after being laid off from Salomon.... If the business world had a grand slam or EGOT - he would be recognized for an empire that excels in finance, data, software and media.... ...I'm not a fan of him...(someone similar to Trump, albeit more intelligent and a proper billionaire), but if his money and his previous support of racist policies are his major flaws then he will 'likely' win the nomination....his performance last night was shocking...not that I expect much...his political ideology is shaking - from being a republican to independent and then a democrat - very similar to our own Atiku Abubakar... ...Trump on the other hand... has always aspired to be Bloomberg - rich, respected, smart, and media savvy.... He even got the idea of working for no presidential salary from Bloomberg who famously took a salary of $1 annually from NYC when he was mayor.... As for Bloomberg's backstory - think of him as a modern day Robin Hood who made his fortune off of Wall Street who chose public service and a life of philanthropy. Best of all - his company is privately owned and he has access to data and media that money can't buy...and has his tax returns intact...unlike Emperor Trump (the whole country is still waiting for the most 'transparent president' ever to release his tax returns)... ...Michael Bloomberg is the inevitable result of a country that worships money, fame and a great backstory...the DNC should plead with him to drop out of the race and support them financially... 1 Like 1 Share |

Lawyer: Assange was offered U.S. pardon if he cleared Russia https://www.politico.com/news/2020/02/19/julian-assange-pardon-cleared-russia-116109 LONDON — WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange plans to claim during an extradition hearing that the Trump administration offered him a pardon if he agreed to say Russia was not involved in leaking Democratic National Committee emails during the 2016 U.S. election campaign, a lawyer for Assange said Wednesday. Assange is being held at a British prison while fighting extradition to the United States on spying charges. His full court hearing is due to begin next week. At a preliminary hearing held in London, lawyer Edward Fitzgerald said now-former Republican congressman, Dana Rohrabacher, visited Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London in August 2017. Fitzgerald said a statement from another Assange lawyer, Jennifer Robinson, recounted “Mr. Rohrabacher going to see Mr. Assange and saying, on instructions from the president, he was offering a pardon or some other way out, if Mr. Assange ... said Russia had nothing to do with the DNC leaks.” Responding to the the lawyer’s claims, White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said, “This is absolutely and completely false.” President Donald Trump “barely knows Dana Rohrabacher other than he’s an ex-congressman. He’s never spoken to him on this subject or almost any subject,” Grisham said. “It is a complete fabrication and a total lie. This is probably another never-ending hoax and total lie from the DNC.” Recounting his meeting with the WikiLeaks founder, Rohrabacher said he told him “that if he could provide me information and evidence about who actually gave him the DNC emails, I would then call on President Trump to pardon him. At no time did I offer a deal made by the President, nor did I say I was representing the President.” ...bolded... |

Kopfschmerzenmd: TheShopKeeper:The sentence is suspended at the moment as it will not be enforced until Stone's application for a new trial because of jury bias is heard by the court, if the court determines that the application has merit then he won't serve it at all, we will be having a new trial altogether. Evidence abounds that the jury was indeed biased and I predict there will be a new trial. All these are ultimately irrelevant because I believe that no matter what the outcome of this case is, Trump will grant Stone a pardon if needed to keep him out of jail. |

3 years and 4 months & a 20,000 dollar fine for Roger Stone What about the biased jurors? What about the hyper-partisan prosecutors? Did the Obama judge take any of that into account? This is a complete sham Roger Stone shouldn't spend a DAY in prison |
