The heat is terrible oo.... the breeze will just cease at night, the way we now run generator overnight is not economical at all because PHCN sef has recently teamed up with the heat to punish us. For 2 days now, they bring light during the day and take it at night only to bring it 6am

I usually a small towel soaked with water by my side. I place it on my body anytime the heat gets mad.

I'm really grateful to God and fulfilled, I could experience this joy of motherhood.
At 1:25pm my cute, fair, orobo which I will call Ifeoluwaleyi was brought out weighing 4.7kg and even tall join.

My husband is so grateful to God that I didn't die but my first son refuse to greet baby.

I'm lending out my boot to all GTC moms because I was once told that I'm among the women that don't give birth on earth because of my nature of hormonal imbalance. Which no medical solution worked for.

July mamas, I was told to avoid sleeping on my back as it makes babies lie anyhow in the womb. A midwife encouraged to lay mostly right, or left. I know this is right, but isn't it too early at 18weeks? Sabi mamas pls chook mouth.

What's is our take on induction.
I am 40weeks without any signs of labour. The doctor has advised we do once its 41 weeks next week. However I am thinking of trying induction first but my husband is discouraging me. He says induction is not properly monitored and can go wrong and cause issue.
Please I need people who have experienced induction and general take on this mater.

Congratulations on the birth of your princess. On lactating, try not to worry because worrying in itself can cause you not to lactate. Just relax, eat and drink a lot of water, put your baby to breast always and trust your body to do what it is made to do. E hugs

I use MTN solar sha. It powers my standing fan at night and even the TV. Only disadvantage is it doesn't carry nepa bulbs cuz it has its own bulb, even though it charges with sun, u still have to subscribe it like a decoder. It's better sha cuz it saves you cost of fuel and it's 24/7 light supply.

I had failed induction during my first and the baby later died out of distress. Induction is NOT well monitored in most hospitals. However, God leads and I believe yours will end in praise. I would say you follow your heart.
For me, I go embrace CS than go on induction.

Thanks alot for sharing. The same thing my husband is saying too that they might not monitor it well which might kill the baby.

I will just put my hope if God if he wants me to deliver virginally Labour will come before the scheduled date if not We will proceed as planed.

It was a battle of life and death but the Lord won.
My second son made his grand entrance on 18th Feb weighing 4.7kg through emergency CS when I couldn't push him out during my vbac journey.

People said it's a matter of time. Day 3 now and he's yet to say hi to his brother. Maybe because he's just 2 years old.

The earlier the better. So you can get used to that position because when the tummy becomes big, it gets difficult to start learning how to sleep on your sides.

I had failed induction at 41 weeks, if not for God my baby wouldn't have made it because his heartbeat was dropping, it was just a doctor passing by that noticed i was also running fever and i was rushed to the theater.. His 14 months now and a very smart boy..Induction works for some people, but i wont encourage anyone to go for it based on my experience.
